Itinerary
Day 1
Alanya Terrace — panoramic photo break (I LOVE ALANYA area)
Drive to the Alanya panoramic terrace area (Büyükhasbahçe) for sweeping views of the coastline and city. Short photo stop to capture the panorama and skyline.

- Bring a light windproof layer — the terrace is exposed and can be breezy at sunset.
- Use the wide-angle on your phone for full coastline shots; arrive promptly so the group can keep to schedule.
- Ask your guide for the best angle for a couple’s photo; they know where the landmark sign and sea backdrop line up.
Alanya Castle — viewpoint and photo stop
Short visit to a viewpoint near Alanya Castle to enjoy elevated views of the city and harbor. Opportunity for photos of the castle silhouette and the Mediterranean coastline.
Tips from local experts:
- There are cobbled sections and some steps near the viewpoint — wear comfortable shoes for easy movement.
- If you prefer fewer crowds, stay near the lower viewpoints rather than climbing fully into the castle complex.
- Ask the guide about using the cable car on the return to save walking if you want a more relaxed pace.
Damlataş Cave & Cleopatra Beach — free time (swim or explore)
Arrive at Cleopatra Beach area. You will have free time (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes) to swim, relax on the sand or, if you wish, walk to nearby Damlataş Cave (entry is optional and not included). The cable car service to the castle is available and included for the route covered by the tour.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen if you plan to swim; there are beach-side cafes and sunbed rentals available locally.
- The cable car (teleferik) is included as part of the tour routing — ask your guide when and where to board to avoid queues.
- Keep valuables in a small waterproof pouch when on the beach and agree a clear meeting spot and time with the guide before free time starts.
