Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at the roadside meeting point in Algodonales, complete check-in and briefing, fly (weather permitting), then debrief and collect video.
Meet & check-in
Meet your pilot and team at the roadside meeting point on the A-384 for check-in, waiver confirmation and a quick introduction to the plan for the flight.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive by car and park safely off the A-384; there is limited roadside parking so allow a few extra minutes.
- Bring photo ID for check-in and any brief medical information requested by the pilot.
- Wear closed-toe shoes and a light jacket—the meeting point is roadside and can be breezy.
Safety briefing & equipment fitting
Pilot-led safety briefing, harness fitting and explanation of takeoff/landing procedures. The team will then move you to the nearby launch area by short walk or vehicle transfer when conditions allow.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect a short wait if wind conditions are variable; bring a lightweight layer for comfort.
- Personal phones and GoPros are not permitted during the flight—if you want a video, request it from the pilot during briefing.
- If you have limited mobility, tell the pilot on arrival; the team will assist but the activity is not wheelchair accessible.
Tandem paragliding flight
Tandem flight with a certified pilot. You can choose a smooth scenic flight or a more dynamic, acrobatic experience. The pilot controls takeoff, flight and landing; video recording is available on request using pilot-provided equipment.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear secure, closed footwear and avoid loose clothing or accessories that could catch in the harness.
- Flights are weather dependent—remain flexible if a short delay is necessary for safe conditions.
- Inform the pilot of any medical conditions before takeoff; this activity is not recommended for pregnant travelers or people with heart conditions.
Landing, debrief & return
Secure landing followed by a short debrief with the pilot. Collect your flight video if requested and return to the original meeting point or your vehicle.
Tips from local experts:
- Allow a short walk from the landing zone back to parked vehicles; terrain may be uneven.
- The pilot will provide the recorded video if you requested it during briefing—confirm the transfer method before leaving.
- If you wish to thank the pilot, have small change available; gratuities are discretionary.
