Itinerary
Day 1
Full-day jeep safari from Belek/Antalya into the Gebiz region: hotel pickup, off-road sections, village visits, swims, lunch, and return.
Hotel pickup — Belek & Antalya region
We collect guests from hotels in the Belek and Antalya region. Due to hotel privacy rules, the guide will meet you at your hotel's main entrance gate (do not wait at reception). Pickup window starts at the listed departure time; final pickup order depends on hotel locations.
Tips from local experts:
- Wait at your hotel's main entrance gate (not the reception) — many hotels restrict third-party entry.
- Have your booking confirmation and a photo ID ready for a quick check at pickup.
- Wear breathable layers; mornings can be cool before the off-road sections warm up.
Arrival & briefing in Gebiz Village; traditional village tea
Arrive at the Gebiz area, meet the driver and local guide, get a short safety briefing and equipment briefing, then enjoy traditional village tea with locals before the off-road section begins.
Tips from local experts:
- If you plan to photograph locals, ask politely first — a quick greeting goes a long way.
- Keep a small amount of cash (TRY) for any small purchases or donations to villagers.
- Bring a lightweight scarf or hand sanitizer for local hospitality settings.
Climb to viewpoint near Bozburun Mountain (approx. 700 m)
Short ascent to a panoramic viewpoint at about 700 meters for panoramic views toward Bozburun Mountain and surrounding valleys. Brief stop for photos and rest.
Tips from local experts:
- The viewpoint involves a short uphill walk; bring a light jacket if it's breezy at elevation.
- Take only essentials to the viewpoint — leave valuables in the guide’s vehicle.
- Watch your step on rocky sections; walking poles are useful but not required.
Swim & relax at Haspınar Creek
Cool off with a refreshing swim at Haspınar Creek and short relaxation time by the water. Changing facilities are rustic; plan accordingly.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring swimwear and a quick-dry towel; there are no formal changing rooms at the creek.
- Footwear suitable for slippery rocks (reef shoes or sandals with grip) is recommended for entering the water.
- Leave valuables in a waterproof bag in the jeep; avoid leaving electronics unattended on rocks.
Lunch at a local restaurant in nature
Savor a freshly prepared lunch at a local restaurant or picnic setup in nature — regional, home-style dishes served near the route. Lunch is included in the tour.
Tips from local experts:
- Inform the operator in advance of any dietary restrictions or allergies so the local kitchen can prepare accordingly.
- Carry a refillable water bottle; bottled water is commonly available but conserving single-use plastics is encouraged.
- Expect simple, home-style seating — if you have a mobility need, notify the guide before the tour starts.
Visit Flying Waterfall — swim and short exploration
Continue the adventure to the Flying Waterfall (a natural cascade) for another swim and time to explore the immediate surroundings. Terrain can be uneven; watch footwear.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect uneven, natural terrain near the waterfall — wear sturdy, non-slip shoes.
- Rinse off sand/grit before returning to the jeep to keep vehicles clean for subsequent guests.
- Pack a dry bag for wet items and a spare set of clothes for the return transfer.
Return to base at Çığırgan Creek and hotel drop-off
Drive back via Çığırgan Creek base area, a short rest stop if needed, and then continue return transfers to hotels in the Belek and Antalya region. Drop-off times depend on hotel locations and traffic.
Tips from local experts:
- There may be a short rest stop at Çığırgan Creek; use this time to change into dry clothes if needed.
- Pickup/drop-off routing depends on hotel locations — expect drop-off order to follow a logical route.
- Keep a copy of your hotel name and address accessible to confirm the correct drop-off point to the driver.
