2-Hour Wilderness Safari on the Bentota River
Embark from the launch point on Galle Road for a guided 2-hour cruise through Bentota's mangrove ecosystem. Your experienced sailor guide will navigate the river and point out birds (kingfishers, peacocks, cormorants) and riverbank wildlife (monitor lizards, crocodiles). A king coconut is provided to each guest during the safari. Boats are modern and equipped with life jackets; guides carry basic safety provisions and life insurance coverage is provided for the activity.
