Itinerary

Day 1

Morning hands-on sushi bento workshop at Tsukiji. Arrive early to find the meeting point and use the elevator to the 3rd floor (see tips).

Sushi Bento Making

Meet at the workshop located on the 3rd floor of the building next to Sushizanmai Bekkan (Annex). Follow instructor guidance to prepare 10 pieces of sushi using high-quality tuna, salmon and seasonal vegetables. Learn about traditional tools and fresh wasabi, style your sushi in the original bento box provided, and eat your bento on-site.

Tips from local experts:

  • Arrive at least 10 minutes before start time. The entrance is to the right side of the Sushizanmai Bekkan (Annex) building — follow the narrow pathway to the elevator and take it to the 3rd floor.
  • If anyone in your group has food allergies or dietary restrictions (vegetarian, shellfish, etc.), notify the operator well before the session — same-day requests may not be possible.
  • No takeout is allowed for food-safety reasons: all sushi and bento boxes must be eaten on-site. The venue is wheelchair accessible; infant seats are not available.
