Tips from local experts:
- Keep train tickets and a government ID (passport / Aadhaar) handy; station staff often request them before boarding.
- Ask hotel staff or the driver for wheelchair or step-assist at the train platform if needed; plan 20–30 extra minutes for assistance.
- Use station restrooms and buy bottled water before boarding; trains have limited space for frequent restroom visits.

Arrival at Jaipur Railway Station, meet-and-greet by local driver and transfer to your booked hotel in Jaipur for check-in and rest. Evening at leisure (hotel overnight).
Tips from local experts:
- Confirm your hotel name and rooming details before arrival so the driver can drop you directly at the correct entrance.
- If you have mobility requirements, request a ground-floor room or a room near an elevator at check-in.
- Keep a small carry bag with essentials (medication, eyewear, charger) for easy access while luggage is taken to the room.
Day 2
Full-day Jaipur sightseeing by private air-conditioned vehicle with a local guide. Visits include Amber Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Jantar Mantar. Evening visit to Chokhi Dhani.
Drive to Amber Fort and guided visit
After breakfast, drive to Amber (Amer) Fort for a guided visit. The site includes uneven paths and steps; the guide will keep the pace comfortable and allow seating breaks.
Tips from local experts:
- Amber Fort has many steps; wear comfortable, low-heel shoes and use the shaded seating areas for rests.
- There is limited step-free access in some parts of the fort; request the guide to plan a route with fewer stairs if needed.
- Carry a hat and a bottle of water; mornings are cooler and best for comfortable walking.
City Palace — guided visit
Guided visit to the City Palace complex in central Jaipur. The guide will cover key courtyards and the palace museum highlights with seating breaks as needed.
Tips from local experts:
- City Palace has indoor galleries and shaded courtyards—use these for short rests and to avoid direct sun.
- Photography is allowed in some areas but check with palace staff; carry a light scarf for modesty when entering enclosed halls.
- Restroom facilities are available near the main entrance; use them before continuing to the next stop.
Photo stop at Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds)
Short external stop at Hawa Mahal for photos and a brief explanation of its facade and history. This is a quick visit; main views are from the outside.
Tips from local experts:
- Hawa Mahal is best photographed from the road across the square—avoid blocking the walkway and keep group members close.
- There are steps and a small climb to viewing areas; if stairs are a concern, remain at street level for good views.
- Expect local vendors nearby—keep valuables secure and be ready for short walks on uneven pavements.
Lunch / Rest break (not included)
One-hour lunch and rest break in central Jaipur. Lunch is not included in the program; the driver/guide can suggest nearby accessible restaurants suitable for seniors.
Tips from local experts:
- Choose a restaurant with seating and accessible toilets; ask the guide for senior-friendly suggestions.
- If you have dietary restrictions, tell staff before ordering—many Jaipur restaurants can accommodate simple requests.
- Carry small change for quick payments and tipping service staff if needed.
Jantar Mantar — open-air observatory visit
Visit the Jantar Mantar astronomical instruments (open-air). The guide will explain the major instruments and their historic use.
Tips from local experts:
- Jantar Mantar involves some uneven ground—use comfortable shoes and take the shaded paths where available.
- There is limited seating on-site; plan to take short standing stops and use the guide to reposition everyone for photos.
- Sunscreen and a hat are advised for midday visits since much of the site is exposed.
Return to hotel / rest
Return to your hotel for rest and preparation for the evening visit to Chokhi Dhani. Time to freshen up before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- Allow time to rest and change into comfortable evening clothes; finalize any mobility aid needs with reception.
- Ask hotel staff for a light snack or hot beverage if you need energy before the evening visit.
- Confirm the exact pickup time with the driver so you are ready at the agreed meeting point.
Chokhi Dhani — evening visit to ethnic village resort
Visit Chokhi Dhani (ethnic village resort) in the evening to experience Rajasthani folk culture and villagescape. Note: food or dinner at Chokhi Dhani is not included unless pre-arranged.
Tips from local experts:
- Chokhi Dhani is on Jaipur's outskirts—expect a 30–45 minute drive from central Jaipur; request a seat close to the vehicle door when boarding.
- The site has uneven ground and sand paths; wear stable shoes and ask staff about wheelchair-friendly routes if needed.
- If you wish to see performances, arrive early to be seated; evening temperatures can drop, so bring a light wrap.
Return to hotel — Overnight in Jaipur
Private transfer back to your hotel in Jaipur for overnight stay.
Tips from local experts:
- Confirm your pickup location and time with the driver at Chokhi Dhani to avoid waiting outside the venue.
- If you feel tired after the evening, request the driver to drop you at the nearest hotel entrance for easier access.
- Keep a small bottle of water and any needed medication accessible for the short transfer back to the hotel.
