ISKANDARKUL - Live Legend, One-day tour

Chiluchorchashma: Legendary Spring, One-day tour
CHILUCHORCHASHMAThe name of this place translates as "Forty-four springs". Every resident of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan knows about it.Here, near the hill, in the very center of the sunny desert, several wide springs burst out of the ground, spreading into 39 smaller ones. All the springs, connecting into one, form a small river, the width of which is 12-13 meters. There are a lot of fish here.There is a legend that Caliph Ali, noticing a dried-upriver called Romit, drove to Chiluchorchashma and began to pray to Allah that he would give at least a little water. At this time, he hit the ground near the hill, and in the place where his hand touched the soil, several transparent springs appeared.Chiluchorchashma is visited annually by many tourists and pilgrims. People pray, perform ablutions, plunge into springs, make sacrifices. There is an opinion that the water in these springs can heal from diseases.

Fann Mountains, trekking, 10 days
In the northwestern corner of Tajikistan, along the border with Uzbekistan, lay the rugged and beautiful Fann Mountains, a branch of the Western Pamir-Alay Range. They divide the northern territory of the country, in the Fergana Valley, from Dushanbe and the south. It is a compact range, with around 100 stunning peaks, many over 5,000m, and renowned alpine lakes. Famed among nature lovers and mountaineers, these mountains nonetheless see very few visitors, and their natural beauty and cultural treasures have remained virtually unchanged to this day.The Fann Mountains nine peaks exceeding 5,000 m above sea level. The highest point of the region is Chimtarga Peak (5,489 m). Other 5,000-metre mountains are Big Hansa (5,306 m), Bodkhona (5,138), Mirali (5,132), Chapdara (5,050), Energia (5,120), Zamok (‘Castle’) (5,070), Little Hansa (5,031) and Moscow (5,046).
Nurek Mountain Lake, One-day tour
Mountain sea can be with great pleasure so called Nurek reservoir, formed in 1972. Indeed, among the mountain range in the South of Tajikistan, noticing the huge area of the water surface, it is impossible not to compare it with the sea, especially the mountain. The surface area is 98 km2, water volume is 10.5 km3, length — 70 km, width 1 km, the Average depth of the lake is 107 m. the reservoir Level is in the range of 53 m. the reservoir is used for shipping. Discharge of water through the tunnel made in the rock with a length of 5 km.The mountain sea is filled with clear, mirror fresh water, the source of which is the icy mountains of the Pamir range. The reservoir was formed at an altitude of 885 meters above sea level under the Nurek dam.Currently, one of the most powerful hydroelectric power plants in Central Asia, the dam which is listed in the Guinness book of Records as the highest bulk dam in the world. The height of the Nurek hydroelectric dam is 304 meters.
Great Silk Road in Tajikistan: Eastern, 7 days

Seven Lakes, private Two-Day Trekking
"Haft Kul" or "Seven Lakes" is the name of cascading lakes among the Fan Mountains in the northwestern part of Tajikistan, near the city of Penjikent. A group of mountain lakes amazes visitors with their bright and constantly changing colors. Each lake has its own name: the lowest lake, which travelers usually meet first, is called Mizhgon. Next are Soy, Khushor, Nofin, Khurdak, Marguzor (the largest), and Hazorchashma (the highest).Seven lakes are in the Fan Mountains, in the gorge of the Shing River. Ancient petroglyphs discovered on the shore of one of the lakes indicate that the lakes are quite old. The lowest lake (Mizhgon) is located at an altitude of 1,640 meters, and the highest (Hazorchashma) is 2,400 meters. The height difference between the lowest and highest lakes is 760 meters, and the distance between them is more than 14 km.

One-Day Trekking to Gusgarf Waterfall
Not far from the city of Dushanbe, in the right gorge of the Varzob River, falls Gusgarf waterfall, the most beautiful in the Hissar Range. A stormy river has cut through a vertical rocky wall for many centuries and falls from a 30-meter height. A multi-ton mass of water crumbles below into myriads of drops, iridescent and sparkling in the sun. The hiking mountain trail (ascent) to the waterfall starts 21 kilometers from the Varzob Gorge, from here it takes 2-3 hours to walk to the waterfall (about 8 km).Thrill-seekers can test themselves in unusual water procedures. This is a rather deep round bath filled with ice water, the smallest mist from a waterfall, and a powerful jet that can knock you off your feet.A visit to the waterfall is available from April to September. The ascent to the waterfall is quite steep, but quite accessible and affordable for people in average physical condition. In early spring, nature simply amazes with its beauty, lush grass, and flowering trees.

Iskanderkul Legends, 2 day tour
The name of the lake in Tajikistan comes from the name "Iskander" (meaning "Alexander") and the word "kul" ("lake"). Some legends say that the reservoir got its name since the Great Alexander visited it during a campaign to India from Central Asia. And after Iskander Zulkarnain visited here, due to the obvious consonance, the name was changed to Iskanderkul.The lake located in the northern part of the country, in the Sugd region. The distance from the capital of Tajikistan is more than 180 kilometers along a high-altitude and quite decent highway. Along the way, you can see fascinating natural landscapes with snow-capped mountain tops rushing into the deep blue of the sky. A lot of tourists come to this mountain reservoir. CHILDUKHTARON - miraculous mountain, One-day tour
CHILDUHTARON is an ancient place, a valley in the South of Tajikistan, big rocky mountain silhouettes in the form of forty girls.Childukhtaron is translated as the valley of the Forty Girls, which is associated with an interesting legend. According to this legend, 40 stone blocks towering over the valley were once beautiful and charming girls.When enemies came to the valley and decided to make them their concubines, the inhabitants of the mountains prayed and asked Allah to turn themselves into silent stones.Among the locals there is also another legend, according to which the rocks grew on this place after a fierce battle with Genghis Khan. Defending their land, 40 young horsewomen blocked the path of Genghis Khan himself. But the forces were unequal and the riders died in battle.
