Itinerary
Day 1
Full itinerary for the 4-hour Half-Day El Yunque Hike with Waterslides — meeting in Fajardo, drive to El Yunque, two waterfall stops with swimming and waterslides, and return to Fajardo for a post-tour snack.
Meet & check-in — Yagrumo Restrobar, Fajardo
Arrive at the meeting point in Fajardo to check in, meet your guide, receive a short safety briefing and gear reminders. You must arrive at least 10 minutes before the tour start time (tour departs promptly).

Drive to El Yunque (follow the guide in your vehicle)
Follow the guide’s vehicle from Fajardo to the east side trailhead of El Yunque National Forest. The guide will lead the convoy on the route into the forest — taxis or Uber are not permitted.

Hike to the first mineral pool and waterfall
Short 20–30 minute hike on natural, sometimes muddy trails to the first waterfall and mineral pool. Expect uneven terrain and roots—this is where you'll see local plants and possibly iguanas.

- Shoes with thick soles and good traction are essential — water shoes or closed-toe hiking sneakers work best for muddy sections.

Playtime at the first pool — swim, rope swing & beginner jumps
