Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at Fethiye Harbour in the morning, board Chillax Travel's boat, then a relaxed sail with multiple swim/snorkel stops and a freshly grilled lunch on board. Return to Fethiye Harbour in the late afternoon.
Meet at Fethiye Harbour (meeting point)
Meet your crew and fellow guests at the main harbour area. Guests joining directly should contact the operator beforehand for the boat name and exact berth if needed.
Tips from local experts:
- If you are coming to the harbour on your own, arrive between 10:00 and 10:15 to confirm the exact boat and berth with the crew.
- Keep a lightweight bag with swimwear, sunscreen, and a hat — leave larger luggage at your hotel or in the car.
- For couples: bring a small travel blanket or sarong for two if you prefer a private moment on a sunbed.
Boarding & safety briefing (Chillax Travel)
Board the boat, stow belongings, and attend a short safety briefing. Crew will explain the day's route, swim/snorkel procedures and meal service.
Tips from local experts:
- Listen to the safety briefing and note where life jackets and shaded areas are located.
- Store phones and valuables in a waterproof pouch or leave them in a secure bag onshore if you prefer.
- If you use prescription snorkeling goggles, bring them; rental masks (if available) may be limited.
Yassica Islands — swim & snorkel
First bay stop at the shallow, turquoise lagoons of the Yassica Islands for swimming and snorkeling in calm water.
Tips from local experts:
- Enter the water gently from the boat; shallow sandbars can extend a short distance — reef shoes help when walking ashore.
- Snorkel near rock edges where fish gather; avoid touching marine life or corals.
- Keep your towel and phone under shade on deck; small dry bags are useful for couples who want photos and to stay hands-free.
Kızıl Ada — swim, photo stop
Stop at Kızıl Ada (the island known for its reddish pebbles) for a refreshing swim and photos of the clear water and shoreline.
Tips from local experts:
- Kızıl Ada can have shallow entry points — check with crew for the calmest swim spots.
- Bring a waterproof camera or use a phone in a waterproof case for shoreline photos during the golden hour later in the season.
- Couples: consider a short photo session near the shoreline; the reddish pebbles are a distinctive backdrop.
Lunch on board — freshly grilled menu
Sit-down freshly grilled lunch served on board: grilled fish and/or chicken, Mediterranean salad, and seasonal sides (drinks not included). Seating is communal but crew will accommodate couples seeking a quieter corner when possible.
Tips from local experts:
- If you have dietary restrictions, notify the operator in advance so the crew can accommodate where possible.
- Have a light snack before board if you are prone to seasickness; eating just before swimming helps many guests.
- Couples: request a quieter table area when you board if you prefer an intimate lunch setting.
Tersane Island — swim and shoreline views
Visit Tersane Island (historic shipyard island) for a calm bay swim next to old ruins visible from the boat. Opportunity for short on-deck exploration while remaining guided by crew.
Tips from local experts:
- Remain near the boat when exploring ruins; many areas are protected and uneven underfoot.
- Bring comfortable water shoes for moving between shallow rocks and sandy patches.
- Couples seeking privacy: ask the crew for quieter anchoring spots on the island side away from other boats.
Katrancı Bay — relax under pine-scented breeze
A sheltered bay where forest meets the sea — ideal for a relaxed final swim or simply reclining under shade before the return leg.
Tips from local experts:
- Shade can be limited on the shore; bring coral-safe sunscreen and a light cover-up for couples wanting a shaded rest.
- Watch for slippery rocks near the shoreline; step slowly and use handholds where provided.
- This stop is a good moment for a quiet toast with a personal drink (drinks not included) — dispose of waste back on board.
Göcek Island — final swim & return to Fethiye Harbour
A short final swim stop near Göcek Island before the boat turns back to Fethiye Harbour for disembarkation.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep personal items in a marked bag to make disembarkation smooth and private.
- If you plan to walk Göcek Marina after return, carry light footwear and a jacket for the evening breeze.
- Arrive at the boarding area a few minutes early to secure your preferred sunbed or shaded seat for the final stop.
