Itinerary
Day 1
Embarkation and welcome at Ha Long international cruise port. (If you selected pickup from Hanoi, pick-up occurs earlier in the morning in Hanoi's Old Quarter / Opera House area.)
Cruise Check In
Meet at Ha Long International Cruise Port for Sea Octopus Cruise check-in and welcome performance. Guests receive a welcome drink and short live music while the crew completes boarding formalities and safety briefing.
Tips from local experts:
- If you arranged pickup from Hanoi, be ready in the hotel lobby at the booked pickup time (Old Quarter / Hanoi Opera House pickup area).
- Bring a lightweight cover-up for early-morning breezes and any necessary ID for boarding; check-in may include a short wait while staff process tickets.
- Carry any motion-sickness medication you need before boarding; fresh water and tea are usually available on arrival.
Halong Bay Explore (Cruise itinerary: sightseeing, Titop Island, Luon Cave/kayak, lunch, Sung Sot Cave)
Full boat program through Ha Long Bay: scenic sailing and photo stops, landing at Titop Island for a short hike or swim, exploring Luon Cave by bamboo boat or kayak (kayak available on request), lunch buffet aboard, visit to Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave, then return to the international port with afternoon tea aboard.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear slip-resistant shoes for the short climb on Titop Island and for moving around the boat; swimsuits and quick-dry garments are useful if you plan to swim.
- If you want to kayak through Luon Cave, request it on boarding (kayak or bamboo-boat option) — the activity is weather-dependent and may require an extra arrangement onboard.
- Keep a small camera or phone in a waterproof pouch for bay photos, and bring a light jacket for cooler late-afternoon breezes on deck.
