Itinerary

Day 1

4‑hour evening scooter food tour across central Saigon (start 17:30, end ~21:30). Dinner and bottled water included. Pickup service available from central hotels; guests must provide hotel name, address and telephone at booking.

Hotel pickup (or meet at Ben Thanh Market)

17:30 – 17:40 • 10m

We collect guests from central Ho Chi Minh City hotels where pickup is requested. If you prefer to meet, the central meeting fallback is Ben Thanh Market. Guide and riders will confirm exact pickup/meeting location in advance.

Tips from local experts:

  • Provide full hotel name, address and phone on booking so pickup can be scheduled accurately.
  • Be ready outside the hotel at the agreed pickup time (17:30); wearing easily removable footwear speeds getting on/off scooters.
  • Keep a photocopy/photo of your passport on your phone and carry only essential cash/cards for tastings.

Safety briefing & orientation

17:40 – 17:50 • 10m

Short orientation covering safety on scooters, helmet fitting, and the evening route through central districts. The guide will explain expected timings and the format of tastings.

Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam

Tips from local experts:

  • Wear breathable layers and bring a light jacket—evenings can be cooler after scooter travel.
  • Listen to the helmet fit instructions and let the guide adjust straps so helmets are secure for pillion riders.
  • Ask about any food allergies now so the guide can advise on which tastings to skip or modify.

Bánh mì tasting (street vendor)

17:50 – 18:20 • 30m

First food stop: an iconic local bánh mì vendor to try a classic Vietnamese sandwich—quick, fresh, and purposefully informal.

Walk & dessert on Nguyen Hue Walking Street

18:50 – 19:20 • 30m

Short ride to Nguyen Hue Walking Street for a relaxed stroll, street desserts or shaved ice, and a chance to see an active evening public space.

Sit-down local dinner (included)

19:20 – 20:50 • 1h 30m

Main sit-down dinner at a local restaurant selected by the guide to showcase regional dishes and family-style sharing—this is the largest meal of the evening and is included in the tour price.

Ward 4, Khánh Hội, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam

Tips from local experts:

  • Inform the guide of allergies or strong dislikes before dishes are ordered—group plates are shared family-style.
  • Bottled water is provided; if you prefer soft drinks or coffee after the meal, ask the guide (these are not included).
  • Plan on shared plates—arrange seats with friends to sample a variety of dishes across the table.

Return transfers & drop-off at central hotels

20:50 – 21:30 • 40m

Finish the tour with drop-offs to central hotels or a central meeting point. Drop-off order and timing depend on booking locations; guide coordinates the most efficient route.

Tips from local experts:

  • Confirm your preferred drop-off address with the guide at the start so they can plan the most efficient route.
  • Gratuities for guides/drivers are not included in the tour cost and may be given in cash at drop-off if you wish.
  • Keep your belongings with you when leaving the scooter; check pockets and ensure you have all personal items before disembarking.
