Our first stop will be Dakrong Bridge, one of the starting points of the Ho Chi Minh Trails, leading you to Hamburger Hill and Ashao Valley. Our main stop in the morning is the Khe Sanh Combat Base, a significant U.S. Marines base that was attacked by the N.V.A. Forces in early 1968, prior to the TET Offensive. The DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is located in the rugged, jungle-covered mountains along the Vietnam-Laos border in South Vietnam.After a morning of exploration, enjoy a rest at a local restaurant for lunch.In the afternoon, we will head to Hien Luong Bridge and the Seventeenth Parallel, which marks the former borderline between North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Following that, visit the Vinh Moc Museum and Vinh Moc Tunnels, which served as shelters from intense bombings during the war. Once we disembark, we will proceed to the Hue Citadel, the city’s most renowned landmark. Initiated by Emperor Gia Long in 1805, this expansive complex includes the Imperial City, several museums, tranquil lakes, and beautifully landscaped gardens, all arranged in concentric circles.Next, we will visit the Tomb of Tu Duc, a magnificent resting place for the longest-reigning monarch of the Nguyen Dynasty (1848-1883). Emperor Tu Duc meticulously planned his final resting place long before his passing, with the tomb completed in 1867.After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will venture into the local villages. Sinh Village, also known as Lai An Village, is celebrated for its vibrant folk painting industry. We will then explore Truc Chi Garden, which encapsulates the essence of traditional craftsmanship. You will have a chance to visit Golden Bridge which is a 150-meter long pedestrian bridge with two giant stone hands supporting the structure. It is designed to connect the cable car station with the gardens and to provide a scenic overlook and tourist attraction. With the Hiking train, visitors going to Ba Na can enjoy the view of the beautiful landscape of nature comfortably and smoothly. It takes tourists to several popular destinations including Ba Na Linh Ung Pagoda, Le Jardin Garden and an ancient villa complex. You will also visit Ba Na Linh Ung Pagoda with its exquisite architectural design. Pick up at the port, we will depart to Hue to visit the Citadel, Hue’s prime attraction, which contains the Imperial City, the Forbidden Purple City and the Emperor's Private Residence. Hue Citadel was built from 1804 to 1833 under the Nguyen’s Dynasty (the last feudalist kingdom in Vietnam). The grounds of the Imperial City are protected by 2-kilometer fortified ramparts and ringed by a moat. Inside the Citadel, there are many different construction works such as: Imperial City Gates, Purple Forbidden City, Temples and places of worshipping, pavilions, gardens, etc.We will have a short break for lunch then take a boat trip on the Perfume River with a stopover at Thien Mu Pagoda, which is an active Buddhist monastery with its origins dating back to 1601. One of its most poignant displays is a car belonging to a former monk, who in 1963, drove to Sai Gon and set himself alight to protest against the South Vietnamese regime and its cruel treatment of Buddhist monks and followers. We finally visit the serene Khai Dinh Royal Tomb, designed to blend in with its natural surroundings and built on principles of feng-shui.
