Itinerary
Day 1
Half-day desert safari with quad bikes, Bedouin village stop and camel ride. Two daily departures are available (morning and afternoon); this itinerary shows the morning flow starting with hotel pickup.
Hotel pickup (shared transfer) — Hurghada hotels
Shared round-trip transfer from your Hurghada hotel to the quad-bike meeting point on Sheraton Road. Exact pickup time will be confirmed via WhatsApp; expect pickup approximately 30 minutes before the activity start.
Tips from local experts:
- Confirm hotel name, block/room number and a local WhatsApp contact when you book so pickup can be confirmed promptly.
- Be ready in the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes before the agreed pickup time; drivers collect multiple guests from different hotels.
- Carry a small day bag (water bottle provided) and wear closed-toe shoes—sand can be hot and dusty during transfers.
Quad bike ride, Bedouin village & camel ride
Get into gear and conquer the sand dunes on a guided quad bike route (approximately 50 km of riding across desert tracks). After roughly an hour of riding you will reach a Bedouin village: relax, drink traditional black tea, and experience local Bedouin hospitality. A short camel ride is available at the village before returning through the dunes to the starting point.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear long sleeves and sunglasses; a thin scarf or bandana is useful (scarves & goggles are excluded so bring your own if you want extra dust protection).
- Keep your helmet fastened while riding and follow the guide’s instructions—maintain safe speeds and proper spacing from other riders.
- Bring sunscreen and a small camera with a neck strap; store valuables in a secure pocket or leave them in the transfer vehicle to avoid loss or sand damage.
