Meet & check-in — Croffers office (Kroz Burak, Hvar)
Check in, present your voucher, get a quick safety briefing and collect snorkel equipment and life jackets.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 15 minutes before the listed departure to complete check-in and be fitted with life jackets.
- Bring a lightweight day bag — lockers are not available on the RIB; keep valuables minimal and in a waterproof pouch.
- Have your voucher (paper or electronic) and a photo ID ready for faster check-in.
Boarding at Port of Hvar and departure
Short transfer to the Port of Hvar, board the shaded RIB Flyer 747 and depart for the first stop.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear non-slip shoes for boarding and follow crew instructions for safe embarkation.
- Keep a small waterproof bag for your phone/camera; crew will point out secure shaded storage on board.
- If you’re prone to seasickness, take preventative measures before boarding (crew can advise).
Transit to Green Cave (island of Vis)
High-speed RIB crossing to the Green Cave area on Vis. Enjoy coastal views en route; crew will give a short orientation.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep cameras or phones on a secure strap while the RIB is moving to avoid accidental drops.
- Use the shaded area of the boat during sunny conditions and reapply reef-safe sunscreen before swimming.
- Ask the crew if you’d like practice fitting your snorkel mask before the first swim stop.
Green Cave visit — swimming and snorkeling
Approximately 1 hour at the Green Cave area on Vis for swimming, snorkeling, and short swimming-access exploration. Guests may enter with a guide where permitted or swim from the anchored boat.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear your life jacket and check snorkel fit before entering the water; the crew will supervise water activities.
- Leave shoes on board and use the small ladder or guided tender to enter/exit the water safely.
- Bring a towel and quick-dry top; the crew can help stow wet gear after the stop.
Transit to Stiniva Bay (Vis)
Short sea transfer to Stiniva Bay; enjoy the rugged coastline and prepare for a sheltered-cove stop.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep belongings secure and zipped—the crew will advise where to keep them during the approach to the cove.
- If you want photos of the cliff and inlet, have your camera ready on the approach; the boat will pause for photos.
- Respect other small boats and swimmers when approaching the cove; follow the crew’s anchoring instructions.
Stiniva Bay stop — beach & swim
About 1 hour to enjoy Stiniva’s dramatic cove: swim, snorkel close to shore, and take in the cliffs from the water.
Tips from local experts:
- Stiniva has a narrow entrance and pebbly shore — water shoes are useful for getting in and out safely.
- There are limited facilities at the cove; bring tissues and small essentials in a waterproof pouch.
- Stay within sight of the boat and follow crew guidance for returning to the RIB to keep timings on track.
Transit to Blue Cave (Biševo)
Transfer by RIB toward Biševo for the guided Blue Cave entry. Crew will brief on the cave-entry procedure en route.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep a light jacket handy; cave interiors can be cooler and misty from boat traffic.
- Charge your camera/phone before this stop—the Blue Cave is a prime photo moment but space in the small cave-boat is limited.
- Follow the guide’s instructions during cave entry; movement is restricted inside the cave-boat approach.
Blue Cave guided entry (Biševo)
Guided entry into the Blue Cave with a short in-cave explanation from the local guide. Time inside the cave is approximately 20 minutes (boat-switched entry).
Tips from local experts:
- Space inside the small cave boat is limited—keep movements minimal and follow the local guide’s instructions.
- Expect to be lowered in the boat to enter; wear shoes that can be removed quickly and store small items safely.
- Bring a small camera or phone on a strap; the cave’s color effect is best photographed from a low angle.
Transit to Palmižana (Pakleni Islands)
Pleasant crossing to Palmižana on the Pakleni Islands for a lunch and relaxation break at a beach bar.
Tips from local experts:
- Notify the crew of any dietary requirements ahead of time so staff at Palmižana can be advised where possible.
- Keep a small amount of cash handy for incidental purchases at the beach bar; card acceptance varies by venue.
- If you plan to stay in shade at the beach bar, arrive promptly — limited shaded seating can fill quickly in summer.
Lunch & relax — Laganini / Palmižana bay (Pakleni Islands)
Long break in Palmižana for lunch, refreshments and beach-bar time at the popular Laganini area (approx. 1 hour 55 minutes).
Tips from local experts:
- Laganini and Palmižana can be busy in high season—confirm your group’s table on arrival to avoid waits.
- Hydrate between swims and reapply reef-safe sunscreen before returning to the RIB.
- If you plan to swim, keep a dry change of clothes and footwear accessible on board for the return leg.
Return transit to Hvar — disembark and trip close
Return crossing to Hvar. Disembark at the Port of Hvar; the crew will assist with any gear. Tour concludes back in Hvar.
Tips from local experts:
- Collect all personal items from the boat before disembarkation; check with crew if anything is left behind.
- If you need a taxi or onward transfer in Hvar, ask the crew for a quick recommendation or nearby meeting point.
- Stretch your legs after disembarkation and allow a few minutes to return rented equipment or confirm lost-and-found with the operator.
