  • Apply reef-safe sunscreen before boarding; the crew will remind you before snorkeling.

Departure — sail & welcome onboard

10:00 – 10:30 • 30m

Board the luxury catamaran. Enjoy a welcome drink, fruit and sweet bread, and the privilege open bar as the boat sails toward the snorkel area.

Tips from local experts:

  • If you are prone to seasickness, take medication at least 30 minutes before departure.
  • Wear lightweight, non-slip shoes or go barefoot on deck; bring a hat and sunglasses for the sail.
  • Store valuables in a small waterproof bag; keep phones protected if you plan to take photos on deck.

Snorkeling (reef selection depends on conditions)

10:30 – 11:00 • 30m

Snorkel at a nearby reef. The exact reef visited will depend on weather and crowding (possible sites include El Meco, El Farito, Sac Bajo, or the sunken ship area). Snorkel equipment (mask, new snorkel tube, fins, life vest) and guidance are provided.

Tips from local experts:

  • Snorkeling is permitted for children 10 years and older—bring ID for children if applicable.
  • Use the provided life vest if you are not a confident swimmer; follow crew instructions at all times.
  • Avoid touching coral or marine life and rinse gear in fresh water after snorkeling.

Dip at Playa Norte

11:20 – 11:40 • 20m

Short stop for a swim and to enjoy the famous clear shallow water at Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres.

Playa Norte, 77400 Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico

Tips from local experts:

  • Playa Norte's sand is soft and shallow — wear reef-safe sunscreen and bring water shoes if you prefer.
  • Small personal items are best left on the boat; keep valuables secure and only bring what you need for a quick dip.
  • Respect marked areas and lifeguard instructions (if present); currents can change, so stay near the group.

Beach Club & Buffet (1.5 hours)

11:40 – 13:10 • 1h 30m

Buffet lunch and access to a beach club near Playa Norte. Privilege open bar is available on site as included.

  • Towels are available on board only — return to the catamaran for towels if needed before disembarking to the club.
  • Carry a small amount of local currency or card for incidental purchases (photos or souvenirs are not included).

Free time in Isla Mujeres (1.5 hours)

13:10 – 14:40 • 1h 30m

Explore Isla Mujeres independently: stroll the pedestrian streets near the waterfront, shop for local crafts, or enjoy more beach time. Return to the meeting point on the agreed time to re-board.

Tips from local experts:

  • Plan a meeting time and clear landmarks for your return to avoid missing the boat; the crew will announce re-boarding time.
  • Shops and vendors accept card and cash, but small denominations of pesos are useful for quick purchases or tips.
  • If you plan to walk, wear comfortable shoes; Centro area is flat but sun exposure is high—carry water and a hat.

Return sail to Cancún (privilege open bar continues onboard)

14:40 – 16:40 • 2h

Board and relax on the catamaran for the return crossing to Cancún. Enjoy the open bar and onboard amenities as the crew prepares for arrival.

Tips from local experts:

  • Keep personal belongings collected; disembarkation will be scheduled shortly after arrival at the marina.
  • If you want couple photos, the aft deck offers unobstructed views during the return sail—pick a time with calmer seas.
  • Respect crew instructions during re-boarding and when leaving the boat; life vests must be used if requested.

Arrive & disembark at Marina Puerto Xtabay

16:40 – 17:00 • 20m

Disembark at the marina. For passengers with return transfers, drivers will be ready for hotel drop-offs; if you arranged independent transport, proceed as advised during check-in.

  • Allow extra time for transfers to airport or evening plans—traffic can add 20–40 minutes depending on destination.
