Pickup from hotel in Jesús María & Transfer towards Caral (breakfast box on board)
We pick you up from your hotel/apartment in Jesús María and head west on the Panamericana toward the Supe Valley. A breakfast box and refreshing drinks will be provided on board. Short rest stop en route for comfort and restroom use.
Tips from local experts:
- Have your passport or ID ready in the morning—drivers check ID at pickup when requested.
- Carry a light layer for the early morning; vehicles are climate controlled but mornings can be cool.
- Request assistance at booking if you need lower-step vehicles or extra help boarding the minivan.
Guided visit to the Caral archaeological complex
Guided exploration of the main pyramids, circular terraces, residential areas, amphitheater and plazas of Caral. The guide explains the site's historical context and architecture. Walks are on packed earth with some uneven surfaces.
Tips from local experts:
- Paths include uneven ground and low steps—use comfortable, supportive shoes and take the provided walking aids if needed.
- Carry a hat, sunscreen, and a refillable water bottle; shaded areas are limited around the ruins.
- A valid passport is required on the day of travel—keep it accessible for check-ins or site verification.
Visit to the Supe Valley (Valle de Supe) - viewpoints and farms
Short visit and photo stops in the green Supe Valley to observe local agriculture, river views and mountain backdrops. Time to enjoy the landscape and take photographs.
Tips from local experts:
- Respect private farmland boundaries; stay on public viewpoints and follow the guide's directions.
- Because terrain can be uneven, use the short rest breaks to sit and enjoy the scenery if needed.
- If you require shade or seating, ask the guide in advance so they can prioritize shaded stops.
Lunch in Huacho (seafront restaurant) and short beach stroll
Enjoy a regional lunch at a seafront restaurant in Huacho with typical dishes from northern Peru. After the meal there will be a short walk to admire the coastline before returning to Lima.
Tips from local experts:
- Inform us of dietary restrictions in advance so the restaurant can accommodate senior-friendly meal options.
- Request a table away from the entrance if you prefer quieter seating and easier access for sitting/standing.
- Restroom facilities are available at the restaurant; staff can assist with slower-paced service if requested.
