Kemi-Tornio: Resurrecting Rungius with Pick-Up
We pick you up from Kemi and Haparanda-Tornio hotels, stations etc. to visit the Nicolaus Rungius in his home church in Keminmaa. Rungius was vicar priest in Kemi village at 16th century. He died in 1629 and never rottened. Rungius can be seen during summer in his open coffin in the old St. Michael’s Church in Keminmaa. On the same trip we can also visit the top of Sea Lapland, the viewtower of Kalli outdoor area to see the landscapes of Kemi-Tornio area. After visiting the tower we drive you back.

Icetrek to Old Kemi
Conquer the Old Kemi historical Laitakari Island and the Ruined Sawmill village where Kemi people lived and worked before the city was born over 150 years ago. The guide will teach you the basics of trekking on the ice and you also get to visit the ancient industrial monuments of the now deserted Laitakari island.
