Itinerary
Day 1
2-hour private sea adventure from St. Paul's Bay, Lindos. The skipper tailors swim-stop timing to weather and your group's preferences.
Departure from St. Pauls Bay Beach
Meet your skipper at the small pier in St. Paul's Bay. Brief safety talk, fitting of snorkel gear and lifejackets, then depart.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 10 minutes early to load snorkel gear and for a short safety briefing.
- Parking: there is limited parking near St. Paul’s Bay; allow extra time in high season.
- Bring swimwear, sunhat, and a towel; sea shoes help with boarding from small piers.
Navarone Bay*
Cruise into the turquoise waters of Navarone Bay and stop for the first swim/snorkel where visibility is typically good.
Tips from local experts:
- Snorkel gear is provided; keep masks snug to avoid fogging in warm weather.
- Children should wear lifejackets while in the water unless supervised closely by the skipper.
- Use reef-safe sunscreen to protect marine life and avoid applying heavily right before entering the water.
Swim & snorkel at Navarone Bay
Guided swim and snorkel stop chosen for calm water and underwater visibility.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep small children within arm’s reach; the skipper monitors from the boat.
- If children are nervous, try the sea scooter under skipper supervision for extra fun.
- Rinse-off with fresh water on board after swimming to remove salt and sand.
Lindos Caves*
Explore hidden sea caves and coastal tunnels with a swim in sheltered waters.
Tips from local experts:
- Enter caves only when the skipper signals it is safe; tides and swell affect access.
- Use the boat ladders for safe boarding; let the skipper assist children when re-boarding.
- Keep a waterproof camera or case handy for inside-cave photos.
Lindos Bay*
Swim and snorkel in the heart of Lindos Bay with views of the whitewashed village.
Tips from local experts:
- Supervise young swimmers closely; sheltered bays can have sudden drop-offs.
- There may be other small boats; follow skipper instructions for safe entry/exit points.
- Save space in the cool box for children’s drinks; ask the skipper if you need extra ice.
Lindos Acropolis (view from sea)
Slow cruise past the Lindos Acropolis so the group can admire the ruins from the water and take photos.
Tips from local experts:
- Stay seated and use binoculars or zoom lenses for detailed photos of the Acropolis from the boat.
- The skipper will position the boat for good views; avoid standing on narrow edges.
- If mobility is limited in your party, remain on the boat where seating is shaded and safe.
Kleovoulos' Tomb*
Short stop near the secluded tomb site for a peaceful swim in calm waters.
Tips from local experts:
- This is a quiet, shallow swim spot—good for less confident swimmers and children.
- Listen to the skipper about anchoring and where to enter the water safely.
- Keep personal items in a dry bag or on board; small coves have limited landing space.
Vlycha Bay* (final swim / return)
End the cruise with a relaxed swim or snorkel in Vlycha Bay before returning to the meeting pier.
Tips from local experts:
- If meeting at Vlycha, the shore meeting point is between Lindos Blue & Lindos Jewell hotels; allow time to collect belongings.
- Free parking is typically available at Vlycha if you drove there; confirm boat pick-up point with the skipper.
- Use shaded seating and reapply sunscreen after swimming to avoid sunburn on the return trip.
Itinerary subject to change based on your preferences and weather conditions.
Operational note: number and order of swim stops depend on weather and group preference; skipper will confirm during briefing.
Tips from local experts:
- Ask the skipper at briefing which stops are planned and request any priority spots for your family.
- If seas are choppy, the skipper may alter stops for safety—have flexible expectations.
- Keep seasickness remedies handy if anyone in your party is prone to motion discomfort.
Suggested swim stops note
*Suggested swim stops. The number and duration of swim stops will depend on weather conditions and guest preferences on the day of the trip.
Tips from local experts:
- If you want more time at a particular bay, tell the skipper early—extra fuel may apply for extended cruising.
- Bring small snacks for kids; light refreshments are provided on board but pack what your children prefer.
- Keep valuables in a small dry bag or leave them locked in your accommodation—limited storage on a small boat.
