528 Private Santa Fe Art Experience in Historic Adobe Compound - Cerrillos Visit

Private Santa Fe Art Experience in Historic Adobe Compound - Cerrillos Visit

90- 120 Minutes | Private | Limited Daily AvailabilityStep inside a private 1880s adobe compound in the village of Cerrillos, New Mexico, just 25 minutes south of Santa Fe along the Turquoise Trail. This two-hour private experience offers an immersive introduction to the artist’s process, materials, and working environment in the historic village of Cerrillos, New Mexico. It's opportunity for small groups of friends or family to gather, be hosted and have an intriguing experience in time and light together.Guests are welcomed into Paul Seftel’s studio, gallery and home — a working space that opens directly onto a quiet adobe compound. The space functions as both studio and threshold, connecting the interior workspace with the courtyard, village, and surrounding landscape. In the studio and courtyard. the experience allows guests view select works in low light, including phosphorescent paintings that respond quietly to the fading conditions, revealing a second twilight state that emerges as light disappears...Unfolding through a series of pauses, and refreshments, it.allows time to observe how light shifts. Attention is drawn to subtle transitions: how surfaces absorb and release light, how tones compress as contrast fades, and how color shifts happen from day into night.Relaxed and fun, informal, personal, and unhurried — the experience is focused on perception, light atmosphere, and time. Guests are welcome to explore the work, ask questions, enjoy the refreshments  and spend time with pieces that resonate. Original works and select pieces are available to view and acquire.
