Itinerary
Day 1
Meet at Travelshop Malmö for check-in, pickup of printed and digital map, citybike or bus card, and a short briefing. After check-in start the self-guided tasting route covering four local food stops revealed at check-in.
Check-in & briefing at Travelshop Malmö
Arrive at Bikes & Experiences by Travelshop for welcome, collection of the printed information booklet and digital map, your citybike or bus card option, and a short introduction to the four food stops you will visit. You will receive a welcoming non-alcoholic drink here.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 10 minutes before the 11:00 start at Centralplan 10 to allow time for bike adjustment and paperwork.
- Bring a photo ID if you choose to hire a bike; staff will explain bike return options and extended-hire procedures.
- Collect the printed map and confirm any dietary restrictions at check-in so stops can prepare when possible.
Self-guided tasting route — 4 food stops
Follow the digital or printed route through central Malmö to visit four local food stops (mix of sweet and savory). Samples vary by season and size; water is included at stops. Most stops provide a brief backstory about their food and production. Use your citybike or walk between stops depending on preference.
Tips from local experts:
- Plan roughly 25–40 minutes per stop (includes tasting + short chat); total route time fits within the 11:20–14:00 window.
- If cycling, lock your bike at designated stands between stops and carry small valuables in a secure bag; street parking for bikes is common in the city centre.
- Alcohol is not included; if you want alcoholic drinks at any stop you must be 18+ and order/pay on site — tell vendors about dietary restrictions before tasting.
