Tips from local experts:
- Carry small-denomination Brazilian real (cash) for small purchases or donations in the community.

Tips from local experts:
- Follow the guide's instructions when feeding — the animals are strong and the guide handles all close contact.

- If you have allergies, inform the guide before interacting — fish feed can contain mixed ingredients.
Lunch at a floating restaurant and walk on a suspended trail (seasonal)
Traditional Amazonian lunch (fish/chicken, rice, beans, manioc) at a floating restaurant followed by a walk on a suspended wooden walkway through the flooded forest (seasonal).

Tips from local experts:
- Use this time to reapply insect repellent and rinse off after the day's activities.
- Keep valuables locked in your dry bag or with the guide while you rest.
- If you bring snacks, keep them sealed — local wildlife may be attracted to strong food smells.
Sunset paddle and piranha fishing

Tips from local experts:
- Bring a light jacket — evenings on the water can be breezy and humid as the sun sets.

- Protect camera gear from spray and low light; a small tripod or steady hand helps with sunset shots.

Tips from local experts:
- Wear long sleeves and long pants at night to reduce insect bites and for extra protection.
