Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival transfer: meet at V.C. Bird International Airport arrivals, then shared shuttle to your booked hotel or resort. Total service time ~45 minutes (includes wait/boarding and transit).
Meet your driver at V.C. Bird International Airport (Arrivals)
After clearing Customs and Immigration, proceed to the main Arrivals Hall exit. Your driver will be waiting outside holding a sign with the Aj's Taxi Antigua Adventures logo and the lead traveler's name. Have your digital or printed voucher ready for inspection.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep your digital or printed voucher (lead traveler name visible) ready — the driver will not board passengers without a valid booking reference.
- After baggage claim and customs, exit through the main Arrivals Hall; the driver waits just outside the terminal doors with a sign.
- If you have a stroller, fold it before boarding; vehicles are not wheelchair accessible and space for bulky equipment is limited.
Shared shuttle transfer to your hotel or resort
Board the air-conditioned shared shuttle for transfer to your booked resort or hotel. As a shared service, the van may stop at 1–3 other nearby resorts along the route. The operator uses a flat-rate zone system — the price is the same for any hotel within the same zone.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect up to 1–3 brief stops en route; label luggage clearly and keep essential items (medication, passports, snacks for kids) in a small carry-on you keep with you.
- Service is air-conditioned but roads can be narrow and winding in places; secure small children with provided restraints if available and keep toddlers supervised when boarding.
- If you booked a hotel pickup (return), be ready in your hotel lobby or designated cruise terminal meeting spot 10 minutes prior to the scheduled pickup time.
