Itinerary
Day 1
Evening itinerary timed to capture golden-hour and nighttime city lights from the Eiffel Tower, finishing with an optional romantic Seine cruise.
Arrive & Meet — 14 Av. de la Bourdonnais (tourrr.com meeting point)
Meet your local guide holding a white 'tourrr.com' flag at 14 Avenue de la Bourdonnais. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the official tour start for check-in and a brief orientation.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 20 minutes early — the operator requests punctuality and late arrivals may be marked no-show.
- Look for the guide with the white flag reading "tourrr.com"; it’s easiest to stand near the low stone wall facing the Eiffel Tower.
- Bring a light layer — evenings in May can feel cool near the Seine even if the day was warm.
Hosted Entrance & Security (Skip-the-line access)
Your guide accompanies the group through the hosted entrance and mandatory security checks to reduce waiting time before lift access.
Tips from local experts:
- Have bags and pockets ready for quick security checks — heavy luggage is not permitted to the summit.
- Keep phones/camera batteries handy so you can move through security without rummaging through bags.
- If you use mobility aids, mention this to the guide immediately — there are step-free elevator options to certain levels (summit access may vary).
First Floor — Introduction & Early Views
Short guided stop on the 1st floor to learn about the tower’s history, structure and to take intimate photos with the tower's latticeworks framing the city.
Tips from local experts:
- This level has sheltered vantage points — great if there’s a light breeze; choose a bench near the glass for uninterrupted views.
- Ask your guide for a storytelling moment — they often share charming anecdotes you won't find on plaques.
- If you'd like a framed photo, face the Champ de Mars direction for classic silhouettes of Paris at dusk.
Second Floor — Panoramic City Views & Photo Time
Longer stop on the 2nd floor where views are wider — ideal for sunset/golden-hour photographs looking toward the Seine, Louvre and Montmartre.
Tips from local experts:
- Position yourselves facing west for golden-hour photos — the guide can help with framing for couple portraits.
- There’s a small café if you want a quick espresso or snack; bring coins or a card for quick service.
- Stand by the rail on the north side for less crowded photo spots — guides can point you to local-favorite angles.
Summit Access — Breathtaking Nighttime Panorama
Elevator ride to the summit for sweeping views across Paris — special moments and photos at the highest public point of the city.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a light jacket — the summit is exposed and can be windy after sunset.
- Ask your guide about the best angle for the city’s illuminated landmarks (Notre-Dame, Sacré-Cœur, La Défense) to capture a memorable couple shot.
- If the summit is closed (rare), the guide will extend time on the 2nd floor — budget for slightly flexible timing in your evening plans.
Descent & Short Transfer — Walk to Port de la Bourdonnais
Descend to ground level and walk along the Champ de Mars toward the nearby cruise boarding point. Time to freshen up and prepare for the optional Seine cruise.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear comfortable shoes for the short walk (about 5–10 minutes) from the tower to the cruise docks.
- This is a good moment for a quick restroom stop and to check coat pockets before boarding the boat.
- Keep your camera out — the lights reflecting on the Seine are ideal right after dusk.
Optional: Evening Seine Cruise — Bateaux Parisiens (Romantic Finish)
Board a glass-sided boat for a 45-minute evening cruise along the Seine to see Paris’s monuments illuminated — a classic romantic finale.
Tips from local experts:
- Book seats on the upper-open deck for unobstructed photos; evening cruises are atmospheric but slightly cooler — a wrap is recommended.
- Order a glass of Champagne or share a dessert on board for a special 'celebration' moment (cash/card accepted depending on boat).
- Sit on the starboard (right) side when heading downstream from the Eiffel Tower for the best views of the Musée d'Orsay and Notre-Dame.
