Itinerary
Day 1
Meet in central Athens or be picked up (central Athens only). Board at Marina Zeas (Pasalimani) and enjoy a full day cruising the Saronic Gulf with stops on Agistri, Moni (swim) and Aegina.
Meeting point, pickup and boarding (central Athens pickup option)
If you selected transfer, pickup begins in central Athens. If you did not select transfer, meet at the boat in Piraeus (Marina Zeas / Pier E). Boarding and safety briefing take place before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- If you booked round-trip transfer from central Athens, expect a pickup window beginning around 08:00; the operator confirms the exact time by 19:00 the day before.
- If you are meeting without transfer, arrive at Marina Zeas (Akti Moutsopoulou / Pier E) at least 30 minutes before departure to allow boarding and changing on board.
- Bring a small dry bag for valuables and a light jacket — sea breeze can be cool even in summer.
Agistri — free time in Megalochori / Skala
Arrive at Agistri and enjoy approximately 1.5 hours of free time to explore Megalochori/Skala: swim from the shore, relax at a seaside café, or join the optional local bicycle rental (pay on site).
Tips from local experts:
- If you want to rent a bike, plan to carry a small amount of cash; rentals are arranged locally and are optional.
- Wear quick-dry footwear for short rocky entrances to some beaches around Megalochori and Skala.
- Try a local café for a cold drink; if you plan to buy pistachio products on return from Aegina, save bag space for souvenirs.
Swim & Lunch stop at Moni / Methopi (onboard lunch served)
Anchored swim and snorkeling stop at Moni or Methopi (weather permitting). Lunch is served buffet-style onboard with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Snorkel masks, noodles and life jackets are provided.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring sunscreen and a towel (towels are excluded); change into your swimsuit on board if you prefer.
- Use the provided life jackets and snorkeling masks if you are not a strong swimmer — crew will assist and supervise boarding.
- If you have dietary restrictions, confirm them during boarding — the operator accommodates vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options when informed.
Temple of Apollo (Kolona) — short visit from the harbor
Short guided orientation at the Kolóna (the single remaining column of the 6th century BC temple of Apollo) close to Aegina harbour. Time allocated for photos and a walk around the harbour area.
Tips from local experts:
- Kolona is a short walk from the main port; wear comfortable shoes for uneven surfaces.
- Keep a bottle of water with you — shade is limited near the archaeological column in the summer heat.
- If you plan to visit the Archaeological Museum of Aegina afterward, allow extra time in your free period on the island.
Aegina — free time in town (harbour, pistachio market, shopping) and return sail
Approximately 1.5 hours free time in Aegina town to explore the harbourfront, the pistachio market, Kolóna surroundings, and the Archaeological Museum (optional independent visit). After free time, board for the return sail to Piraeus where the cruise ends.
Tips from local experts:
- Carry small change for the pistachio stalls and local shops; many accept card but small vendors may prefer cash.
- Allow at least 10–15 minutes to re-board the boat before the scheduled departure — the crew will announce boarding time.
- If you didn’t arrange transfer, plan your return to Athens independently; confirm the meeting point and time for transfer if you selected it.
