Itinerary
Day 1
Full 5-hour guided activity meeting in Puerto Morelos (pickup available where offered). Sequence: check-in and safety briefing, ATV, zipline circuit, cenote swim, horseback riding, tequila tasting, lunch, then return.
Meet & Check-in (arrival at park)
Meet your guides, complete waivers, and receive helmets and safety equipment. Staff will confirm your selected lunch option (cochinita tacos or vegan snack) and review the day’s safety rules, weight limits, and sequencing.
Tips from local experts:
- If you chose pickup, expect confirmation of exact pickup time by message; otherwise meet at the local park entrance in Puerto Morelos.
- Bring a printed or mobile copy of your voucher and a valid photo ID for check-in.
- Arrive in comfortable clothes that can get dusty; closed-toe shoes are required for the activities.
ATV Ride — 30 minutes
Guided 30-minute ATV route through marked jungle trails. Quick safety briefing immediately before the ride; helmets provided. Route includes varied terrain—expect dust and occasional mud.
Tips from local experts:
- Wear closed-toe shoes and long shorts or pants to protect legs from brush and dust.
- If you normally wear contacts, bring sunglasses or goggles; dust is common on the trails.
- ATV insurance is not included — confirm coverage needs before the ride and follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
Transfer / Short Rest
Brief transfer on foot between the ATV parking and the zipline area; time to drink water and prepare for the zipline circuit.
Tips from local experts:
- Use this short break to reapply biodegradable sunscreen before the ziplines.
- Keep a small waterproof bag with your essentials; larger bags are not allowed on the ziplines.
- Hydrate now — staff provide water during breaks but bring a small refillable bottle if you prefer.
Zipline Circuit (4 lines) & Hanging Bridges
Complete the guided zipline circuit that includes 4 ziplines and hanging bridges. Staff will fit harnesses and run line-by-line safety checks. Weight limit applies (286 lbs / 130 kg).
Tips from local experts:
- Remove loose jewelry and secure hats — the guides will check harness attachments before each line.
- Weight limit is strictly enforced; if you’re near the limit, notify staff during check-in so equipment can be adjusted.
- Wear clothing that allows arm movement; long hair should be tied back for safety.
Short Change / Move to Cenote
Time to change into swimwear, store loose items, and walk to the freshwater cenote area for a swim and relaxation.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring eco-friendly sunscreen and avoid perfumes or lotions before the cenote swim to protect the water.
- There are no large lockers included; bring a small dry bag for valuables or leave non-essential items on the transport vehicle if allowed.
- Towels may be provided by the operator—confirm at check-in if you need one.
Freshwater Cenote Swim
Guided swim and brief free time in a freshwater cenote on the property. Supervision provided by guides; swimming depth and access points will be explained on-site.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a towel and a change of clothes; cenote floors can be slippery—use water shoes if you have them.
- If you’re not a confident swimmer, tell the guide—life vests are typically available upon request.
- Keep cameras in waterproof cases; phone photos without protection may be damaged by water and humidity.
Transfer to Horseback Area
Short walk/transfer to the stables; staff will brief riders and match horses. Weight limit for riding is 264 lbs (120 kg).
Tips from local experts:
- Wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for horseback riding comfort and safety.
- Notify staff of any riding experience or mobility concerns so they can assign an appropriate horse.
- Weight limits are enforced for safety—staff will confirm during the briefing.
Horseback Riding — 30 minutes
Guided 30-minute horseback ride through gentle trails on the property. Suitable for first-time riders with an experienced guide leading the group.
Tips from local experts:
- Follow the guide’s instructions for mounting, dismounting, and maintaining safe spacing between horses.
- Keep personal items zipped or secured; phone pockets and zippers help prevent drops.
- If you have back issues, consult staff before mounting—this activity is not recommended for certain medical conditions.
Tequila Tasting (introductory)
Short guided tasting led by a local expert covering several styles of tequila. Non-alcoholic alternatives provided on request. This is an educational tasting, not a bar service.
Tips from local experts:
- If you’re driving or do not drink alcohol, request the non-alcoholic tasting alternative during check-in.
- Ask the guide about the difference between blanco, reposado, and añejo if you want quick context for each sample.
- Small sips are typical in tastings—pace yourself so you can enjoy the remaining activities and return transport.
Lunch (2 cochinita tacos or vegan snack) & Rest
Enjoy the included lunch and a glass of water. Menu choices confirmed at check-in. Time to rest, use facilities, and change if needed before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- Inform staff of any food allergies or dietary restrictions at check-in so they can accommodate the lunch choice.
- Lunch is served onsite and includes a glass of water; bring your own reusable bottle if you prefer more water after activities.
- Restrooms are available at the park—use this time to change out of wet swimwear before the return transfer.
Wrap-up, gear return & return transfer to Puerto Morelos
Return equipment, final restroom/change time, and transport back to the pickup/drop-off points in the local pickup area. Guides confirm drop-off times and locations.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect a return transfer time confirmed by staff; allow extra time for multiple hotel drop-offs if using pickup.
- Collect all personal items before boarding the vehicle—small bags can be misplaced during transfers.
- If your hotel is outside the pickup area, staff will advise a central meeting point during reconfirmation—check messages for final instructions.
