Tips from local experts:
- Be ready in the hotel lobby at the confirmed pickup time; the vehicle will be identified by the operator name.
- Have one form of ID and your booking confirmation available for the driver.
- If you need infant accommodation or special assistance, confirm this at booking — infant seats are not available per operator notes.
Arrival & check-in at marina (Residencial La Amada)
Private transfer brings guests to the marina check-in. Short time on shore to confirm passenger list, use restrooms and board when called.
Tips from local experts:
- Use the marina restroom and secure any valuables before boarding; space onboard is limited.
- Turn mobile devices to airplane or waterproof mode if you plan to snorkel or go into the water.
- Light layers are recommended — sea breezes can be cooler in the late afternoon.
On-board departure & safety briefing
Board the SeaLine S43. Crew-led safety briefing, life jacket fitting, and orientation to the yacht layout. Departure from the marina begins promptly at the scheduled tour start time.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive on time for the safety briefing; only a 15-minute grace period is allowed per operator policy.
- Wear non-slip shoes or go barefoot to avoid slipping on deck while boarding.
- If you have motion-sickness concerns, take preventative medication well before departure.
Cruise to snorkeling area (en route to El Farito)
Short cruise from the marina toward the snorkeling reef near Isla Mujeres. Enjoy onboard refreshments while the crew positions the boat at the snorkel site.
Tips from local experts:
- Use reef-safe sunscreen to protect marine life; the crew can advise about local reef rules.
- Keep cameras in waterproof cases or on secure straps during the cruise.
- Accept a crew-provided drink and hydrate before entering the water.
Snorkeling (equipment provided)
Guided/snorkel time over the reef area. Snorkel gear is provided. Crew supervises entry/exit from the water and points out marine features.
Tips from local experts:
- Put fins on while seated on the swim platform or in the water - crew will assist to avoid accidental kicks.
- Avoid touching corals or feeding fish; use the crew for guidance on safe snorkel practices.
- If you are not a confident swimmer, request a flotation aid from the crew before entering the water.
Short transit to Playa Norte (Isla Mujeres)
Quick repositioning from the snorkel site to a beach anchorage near Playa Norte for swimming, walking the sand and relaxing.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring only a small dry bag or leave belongings safely onboard during short transfers.
- Wear water shoes if you plan to walk on the shore or rocky areas near the anchorage.
- If you want shade on the beach, bring a lightweight cover; crew will advise best landing spots.
Beach stop at Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres
Anchored or landed at Playa Norte for beach time — swim, relax on sand, and enjoy the Caribbean water. Assorted snacks and drinks are provided.
Tips from local experts:
- Towels are provided, but keep a small bag for valuables — the crew can store items securely onboard.
- Playa Norte has shallow, calm water ideal for pairs; agree on a meeting point and return time with your partner.
- Respect local beach rules and lifeguard flags if present; the crew will advise about safe swimming areas.
Return cruise to marina with sunset toast
Relaxing cruise back to the departure marina. The crew provides drinks and a selection of appetizers; enjoy a sunset toast with your partner on the return leg.
Tips from local experts:
- A light jacket is recommended for the return leg — evenings on open water can be breezy.
- Keep cameras ready for sunset photos; secure phone cases if the deck is wet.
- Inform the crew if you need assistance disembarking at the marina; they will coordinate the return transport.
