Arrival & meet-up for the semi-private family tour. Tour runs ~2.5 hours and is followed by a nearby family-friendly lunch.
Meet at the green kiosk outside Colosseo Metro (check-in)
Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start. Meet your guide at the green souvenir kiosk outside the lower-level exit of Colosseo Metro (guide will hold an “Empire Tour” sign). Staff check names and distribute headsets.
Tips from local experts:
- Bring passports/IDs for every traveler — ticket names must match IDs for entry; keep them in an easy-access pouch to avoid delays.
- Stroller hack: foldable strollers are easiest to handle here — leave bulky prams in the guide’s recommended nearby spot if needed; guides will advise on the best place.
- Weather in May: mornings are mild but can be sunny. Pack a light rain jacket and sunscreen for children; meeting is outdoors so a small hat for kids helps.
