Itinerary
Day 1
Meet in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace (or Changdeokgung Palace on request). The session includes 60 minutes for hanbok rental/dressing and a 90-minute professional photoshoot. Originals will be shared via Google Drive two days after the shoot; photo editing takes approximately 4–6 days.
Meet at Gyeongbokgung Palace & Hanbok rental / dressing (preparation)
Meet the photographer in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace. Use this hour to collect and put on rented hanbok and finalize simple styling before the photoshoot. The tour operator does not include hanbok rental or palace entrance fees.
Tips from local experts:
- Meet at the Gwanghwamun (main) gate area in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace (161 Sajik-ro) so the photographer can find you quickly — allow an extra 5–10 minutes for group arrivals.
- Reserve hanbok rental in advance with a shop in the Jongno/Insadong area and plan 60 minutes for dressing and basic adjustments, especially with young children.
- Public restrooms and a stroller-accessible route are available near the main gate and the National Folk Museum; bring a small bag with snacks and a changing pad for young children.
90-minute Private Hanbok Photoshoot at Gyeongbokgung Palace
Professional photographer leads a 90-minute photoshoot across accessible palace grounds and picturesque palace backdrops. Photographer captures candid and posed family/group shots; over 200 original photos will be provided and 30 selected edits are included.
Tips from local experts:
- Plan for changing light: late morning to early afternoon provides consistent light, but ask the photographer about slight schedule shifts to avoid harsh midday shadows for children.
- Bring a lightweight mat or simple props for small children to sit on — palace grounds are historic stone and grass; this helps keep clothing clean between takes.
- Be mindful of palace rules: avoid climbing on historic structures and follow directions from palace staff; the photographer will suggest family-friendly poses that respect the site.
