Itinerary
Day 1
Check-in at Recepcion
Meet at the Shibuya Kart shop, complete driver checks, change into costumes and receive driving instruction before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start to complete ID and license verification and choose a costume.
- Bring your required driving document (1949 Geneva IDP, SOFA license, or Japanese driver’s license) and a passport/ID for verification.
- Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and avoid loose jewelry; secure glasses and small personal items before changing into costume.
Tour begins — Tokyo Tower photo stop
Drive through central Tokyo toward Tokyo Tower. Guide will make a safe roadside stop for photos and short commentary.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep your helmet on and hands on the wheel during all driving sections; only exit the kart when instructed by the guide.
- Follow the guide's instructions for safe stopping points near landmarks — Tokyo traffic is busy, so brief photo stops are planned.
- If you want personal photos, secure your camera or phone with a wrist strap; the guide will also take photos during the stop.
Shibuya Scramble Crossing
Drive to and briefly stop near Shibuya Scramble Crossing for photos and to see one of Tokyo’s busiest intersections up close.
Tips from local experts:
- Stay in your kart unless the guide instructs you to disembark briefly for photos; always follow the guide for pedestrian safety.
- Expect a short stop only — watch for pedestrian flow and obey any local signals if exiting the vehicle to take pictures.
- Keep belongings secure; busy areas like Shibuya are crowded, so hold phones and wallets securely during stops.
Back to Shop
Return to the Shibuya Kart shop. Hand over and receive all tour photos and complete post-ride checks and debrief.
Tips from local experts:
- Before leaving the shop, confirm you have received all digital photos from the guide and that any personal items are returned.
- You may be asked to complete a quick post-ride check (helmet return, costume drop-off); stay nearby until the process is finished.
- If you were breath-tested before the ride, the guide will advise on return procedures; keep your license handy until staff confirm completion.
