After that visit, you will have an hour of free time to have lunch at a local restaurant. The time has come to recharge your batteries! After free time, we will continue the route going toAlcobaça Monastery, which dates back to the 12th century. When we are there we will talk about its founder, theFirst Portuguese king, Afonso Henriques. Thanks to its size, the purity of its style, the quality of the materials and the care with which it was built, it was also declared a World Heritage Site in 1989. It's not for less!
