Itinerary
Day 1
Meeting and check-in at the designated meeting point in central Tokyo.
Meeting Point — Tokyo Station (Marunouchi North Exit Taxi Stand)
Meet your guide and group at the Marunouchi North Exit taxi stand for check-in and briefing. Confirm vehicle assignment and safety briefing before departure.
Tips from local experts:
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early and wait at the taxi stand near Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit sculpture/entrance so the guide can spot you easily.
- Carry the same photo ID used at booking; keep small bags with you—space in sports cars is limited.
- If you have a specific seat preference (window/front), tell the guide during check-in; the group may be mixed vehicle types.
Evening Drive — C1 Inner Loop (first drive segment)
Depart Tokyo Station and cruise onto the Metropolitan Expressway C1 Inner Loop toward the Rainbow Bridge area. This segment is primarily in-vehicle travel.
Tips from local experts:
- Keep your seatbelt fastened for all expressway driving and store loose items securely to avoid movement during the drive.
- Use the restroom at Tokyo Station before departure—next longer break is after the brief Rainbow Bridge pass-by.
- For best photos through car windows, wipe your window beforehand or request a window seat when possible.
Rainbow Bridge — Pass-by / short view
Pass by Rainbow Bridge for nighttime cityscape views. Short stop/slow pass for photos where traffic and safety allow.
Tips from local experts:
- This is a short 5-minute photo/stop window — have cameras ready and use burst mode for low-light shots.
- Keep noise and flash low to avoid distracting drivers and meet attendees; remain inside the vehicle unless the guide indicates a safe roadside stop.
- If you need to stretch, request a quick curb-side pause only if the guide confirms it is safe and allowed.
Visit — AUTOBACS Shinonome
Short free time to browse parts, accessories, and tuning gear at AUTOBACS Shinonome (largest local car-parts shop in the area).
Tips from local experts:
- Bring a small bag for any purchases; larger items may be difficult to carry in sports cars — the guide can advise on storage.
- Check store opening hours with the guide on the day; arrive promptly to make the most of the 30-minute visit.
- If you want to ask staff about fitment or technical specs, prepare model/year details to speed up inquiries.
Evening Drive — to Daikoku Parking Area (second drive segment)
Drive from Shinonome area toward Yokohama’s Daikoku Parking Area via the Bayshore Route. In-vehicle transit, scenic night driving.
Tips from local experts:
- Expect urban expressway traffic patterns; follow the guide’s instructions and do not attempt to overtake the lead vehicle.
- Limit photography to quick window shots while stationary or in very slow traffic—avoiding distracting the driver is required.
- Keep personal belongings on your lap or secured; some vehicles have limited trunk access during the meetup.
Visit — Daikoku Parking Area free time
Free time at Daikoku Parking Area to see tuned cars, chat with enthusiasts, and take photos. The guide will point out notable builds and explain context about the meetup culture.
Tips from local experts:
- Respect private property and meet etiquette: do not enter parked cars without permission and avoid blocking lanes or ramps.
- Keep voice levels moderate and follow any directions from onsite staff or police; some areas have local rules and restrictions.
- Bring a compact flashlight for ground-level shots and a camera with good low-light performance; wear comfortable shoes for walking the parking area.
Return Drive — back toward Tokyo (third drive segment)
Drive from Daikoku Parking Area back toward central Tokyo. In-vehicle transit with scenic night skyline views along the Bayshore Route.
Tips from local experts:
- Stay hydrated and use this 30-minute segment to rest; car rides can be bumpy—hold onto personal items securely.
- If you plan to leave early, notify the guide before departure so they can arrange a suitable drop-off.
- Follow local traffic laws; the guide will choose the safest, permitted route back to the Tokyo area.
Optional Stop — Tokyo Tower (short visit / photo stop)
Short optional stop near Tokyo Tower for a quick walk and photos of the illuminated tower. This stop is optional and subject to time and traffic.
Tips from local experts:
- This stop is short (15 minutes); have your camera ready and use wide-angle for full-tower shots from the base area.
- If you want to enter the observation deck, that is not included—bring cash or card if you plan to pay separately.
- Watch for pedestrian crossings and use designated walkways; avoid obstructing the tower entrance or roadside.
Drop-off — Tokyo Station Marunouchi North Exit Taxi Stand (end)
Return and drop-off at Tokyo Station (Marunouchi North Exit taxi stand) or nearby agreed drop-off points. Tour ends here.
Tips from local experts:
- Confirm which of the three possible drop-off points you prefer during check-in so the guide can route accordingly.
- Collect all personal items before leaving the vehicle; check under seats and in door pockets for chargers or camera gear.
- If you need a direct taxi or onward transport, ask the guide—they can point you to the nearest taxi stand or train entrance.
