We offer public trips and crewed charters onboard our 62-foot schooner sailing ship. It provides a spacious and stable environment to enjoy the Faroe Islands coastline, wildlife, and impressive views. Although the ship is authentic to its history as an artist’s masterpiece and its status as the oldest ship built on the Faroe Islands, the Norðlýsið offers two modern toilets as well as heating and ventilation in the inside guest area.Our goal for this trip is to give you a memorable experience of sailing the Faroe Islands coastline, and sailing on a wooden sailship allows you to experience (and take part in) sailing at its best. From our spacious deck, you can enjoy fantastic views, the seabirds, and the occasional seal in comfort. The course is set according to the day's sailing conditions, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience, and If the weather prevents a comfortable solution, the trip will be cancelled with a full refund.Sails, sea air and serenity are what we are all about. Of course, the essence of the trip is to relax and enjoy the Faroe Islands from the sea, but why not combine this with some fishing "old style"?No prior experience is needed. The crew will educate and assist. The trip ends with a meal, prepared from the catch.A fishing spot ticket is for one of the 10 fishing spots available. Additional tickets can be purchased for guests that share the fishing spot or just want to tag along.
