A treasure for those who love the nature off the coast of Callao, at just a few minutes from Lima. We will set sail towards Palomino Islands, a stunning sanctuary of nature. After a 30-minute boat ride, you'll arrive at the islands with your local guide and enjoy up-close looks at historic sites and local wildlife like birds and sea lions. On the ride, we will see El Fronton and Cabinzas islands. Before returning to Lima, we will have a great view of the surroundings of the Harbor Master and the Fortress of Real Felipe, a bastion during the war for independence.
The White City opens its doors to us on a tour that begins at the Carmen Alto viewpoint, which offers us a beautiful landscape of agricultural terraces and from where we can observe the three tutelary volcanoes that surround the city: Misti, Chachani and Pichu-Picchu. We will continue to the Yanahuara neighborhood, famous for its church built in the Andalusian style and its viewpoint, built with beautiful architecture and surrounded by ashlar arches. Then, we will visit the Monastery of Santa Catalina, closed for about 400 years; and which preserves narrow streets, squares and gardens, a jewel from the 16th century. Finally, we will go to the Plaza de Armas, where we can observe the Cathedral and the portals that surround the square and we will finally go to the Church of the Company of Jesus (*); where its cloisters and the famous Dome of San Ignacio stand out. We end our tour here near souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants and more beautiful views of the city.
