Some of the species that are known in the area are the famous arctic chair, Harrius, Trout, Perch and the “Swedish crocodile” Esox lucius - Nordic pike!Your Arctic adventure begins as we welcome you to the serene beauty of Lapland’s frozen wilderness. Before we set out, your guide will lead a brief yet engaging safety introduction — ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and confident before stepping onto the ice. Your safety and enjoyment are always our highest priority.Once we arrive at our pristine destination, we prepare our equipment and venture out onto the glistening ice. Your experienced guide will pre-drill the fishing holes, and you’ll be provided with your own fishing rod and a warm reindeer hide to rest on. As you settle in, surrounded by the vast silence of the Arctic landscape, the crystal-clear water beneath you reveals a fascinating glimpse into the life below the surface. Through the ice hole you can see the bottom and the unique marine life. Towel.After pickup at your accommodation in Abisko - Kiruna - Jukkasjärvi by minibus/van, your Arctic adventure begins with a scenic drive to our lakeside sauna. This experience also doubles as a Northern Lights tour: if the aurora appears during the drive, we stop to enjoy the show. Both along the way and outside the sauna as the chances increase but are not guaranteed when we change geographical location during the evening's experience. Just 30 meters from the shoreline stands our exclusive yet traditionally simple wooden lake sauna, beautifully framed by the frozen winter landscape. Upon arrival, we gather in a wooden grill hut (eldkåta) where we grill sausages over an open fire while the sauna heats up. This is a warm and relaxing moment to settle in before entering the sauna.In the anteroom we undress and then enter the sauna. We sauna according to the Scandinavian sauna culture. Here we are naked in the sauna but it is not a compulsion and swimwear is allowed. We change in a unisex changing room.Once inside the wood-fired sauna, our guide will guide the ice bath for those who want to participate in that activity. There is also the opportunity to cool off in the arctic snow under the starry sky with the possibility of seeing the northern lights! Stay updated with the guide on the same day.Experience the Arctic night on an exclusive Auroa chase by minibus and a guided 3-hour hike in search of the Northern Lights. We pick you up at your accommodation in Jukkas/Kiruna for the journey to Abisko. From Torneriver Valley in the forest landscape up towards the Swedish mountains lies the world famous Abisko. During the journey you will have the opportunity to view the Northern Lights if they appear.Together with an experienced guide and some playful husky puppies we hike through the Abisko Valley. Along the way, we stop at scenic places, perfect for night photography. Depending on the snow conditions, we hike with or without snowshoes to reach the viewpoint.Along the way we stop at a traditional lavvu (tip-tent) where you can warm yourself by the open fire, enjoy a hot drink and spend time with the puppies before continuing the hike under the Arctic night sky.Important information: The hike takes place in varying terrain and the weather can change quickly. Guests should be comfortable walking in snow and on uneven terrain, but the place will be adjusted to the group. Please write in your booking if you have any allergies.
