Pingyao was inscribed as an World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997, and renown for its well-preserved old city for the Ming and Qing dynasties architectures. Local people still live in the old twon that is situated in the old city walls. All streets and shops, and houses keep its original style.Pingyao has four main street in four directions, the centrr is the old building Shilou where you can pay and climb up to view the old city. As the financial center of China in late Qing Dynasty, there are more than 20 financial institutions museums in the old town, of which Rishengchang is the most renown one. The old city wall, Yamen, Confucius Temple are must-see. You can taste local lunch on your own budget, particularly the beef and noodlesthat are well-known here. Later, you will be transferred back to Pingyao Railway Station to catch the bullet train back to Xian. Afterwards you will walk to the dock to take a public boat from here to Canton Tower on the Pearl River to view the moving pictures along the river including buildings, parks, islands and bridges on the boat. Yang Pass and Jade Gate Pass were two important passes near Dunhuang in ancient time. You can still see the ruin of these big passes that are situated near an oasis in the middle of Gobi Desert.Afterwards, you will head to Han Dynasty Great Wall Ruin that was built in Han Dynasty about 2,000 years ago. It is very impressive to see the wonder extending from inland China all the way here, and then to Lop Nur. Later, you will continue driving for 1.5 hours to the Ghost City that is Yardan Geological National Park nearby Lop Nur, and it is the key route of the ancient Silk Road from Dunhuang to Lop Nur. There are many different clay formation created by the wind. You will hear the horrified sounds from the clay on a windy day as if whispers of ghosts, hence the name. Lunch is included and served at a local restaurant. At the end, you will be transferred back to you hotel where the busy but wonderful day concludes.
At 6.00 pm, your friendly guide and drive will pick up you at your downtown Guangzhou Hotel lobby. Then you will be transferred to famed Diandoude Dim Sum Restaurant for a very traditional dim sum in Canton style. At 7am, you will be picked up from the lobby of the centrally located Guangzhou hotel, and move to Guanzhou South Railway Station to catch 2.5-hour bullet train to Yangshuo. Yangshuo is well-known small town for its picturesque mountains and rivers. Under the jurisdiction of Guilin city, Yangshuo is 60km from Guilin and endowed the best view of Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to take a boat on the Li River to enjoy the incredible Karst Mountains and water view on the boat. Afterwards you will visit theMoon Hill and Yu Long River that are the impressive part for its spectacular scenery. After lunch at a local restaurant, you can wander around the West Street for shopping. Later, you will be transferred to catch bullet train back to Guangzhou. Firstly you will visit the biggest city square, Tian'anmen Square which is located in front of the Forbidden City. You will view the buildings around the square before heading for the Forbidden City. As a palace for Ming and Qing Dynasty, the Forbidden City was built from 1406-1420AD in Ming Dynasty. It is well-preserved housing millions relics. Your guide will take you visit the impressvie halls and tell you the stories behind the buildings. Afterwards you will walk to the Hutong Area. From 7am to 2pm, our guide will pick you up from Beijing International Airport as per your flight information, then drive 1.5 hours to Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The Great Wall is the ancient ruin of Chinese defense project, the history of the Great Wall can be tracked back to 2200 years ago. Mutianyu Great Wall was built on the high mountains, and you can climb up to the very top to acquire a bird view of the the imposing Wall. The round-way cable car is included, so you can easily take the cable car up, then wander around. Afterwards you will enjoy a meal at a local restaurant to recover energy before transferring back to Beijing airport to catch your flight. Kindly note you need at least 5 hours for the tour.
At 6:00 am, a representative will pick you up in your hotel lobby in Beijing and will be holding a sign with your name on the front. Then, transfer to the Beijing airport to catch your flight to Xi'an. Upon your arrival, you will be met by a guide at the airport, then taken directly to the Terracotta Warriors Museum. As you walk the museum, your guide will tell you stories about this culturally-rich venue. Learn about how the emperor at the time had these vessels buried underground for years.After your tour of the Terracotta Warriors Museum, you will be brought to the Muslim Quarter, along with the snack street area. See how the Muslim cultured has had quite the influence on Xi'an. Wander around the old city wall, that was built about 600 years ago, yet remains in good condition. Transfer back to the Xi'an airport after your tour to catch your flight back to Beijing. Meet the driver at the exit of the airport, then transfer back to your Beijing accommodations at the end of the day.
At 9.30am, your guide will meet you outside Exit B1 Yuexiu Park station on metro line 2 in Guangzhou, then start the day tour. You will visit the Museum of the Tomb of the Nanyue King of the Western Han Period, where you will learn the history of Guangzhou back to 2,200 years ago.Afterwards, you will climb up Yuexiu Park to view the token of the city, 5 Rams Sculpture that was erected in Yuexiu park in 1959 to describe the legend. You will also view a section of the Old City Wall of Guangzhou in the park, which was built in Ming Dynasty about 600 years ago.Then, you will move to Academy of Clan Chen, or The Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, which is an academic temple built in 1894 during later Qing Dynasty. Academy of Chen Clan is a complex with traditional Canton architecture style. Now it is a folk art museum to display wooden carving, stone carving, brick carving, pottery, plaster and iron engraving etc. which are nice to view with your local guide.Later, you will take metro to Shamian Island and wander around the former colony for British and French for 100 years ago, where there are well-preserved old European architectural houses, and you can see local people taking wedding pictures here.Afterwards you will take a boat on the Pearl River to view the buildings beside the river. Then you will move to Canton Tower.
