By participating in my activities, you help preserve this unique and historically significant site. Jump in and take a walk through the quiet neighborhoods and backstreets of Dorsoduro to explore its historic spots, its gondola boatyards, and learn more about the place.We'll talk about how Venice was built, its architecture and urbanist aspects, its artistic and cultural heritage, as well as how Venice has changed over time and how it lives today. You’ll get familiar with such words as squero and palazzo, as well as with other things to help you get a better insight into the city, the way it thinks and its identity.We love our city, its history and traditions, and we’d fancy sharing this passion with you! The journey will take you past wetlands and the islands of Murano, Sant'Erasmo, Lazzaretto Nuovo, and others. Through this experience, you will gain a deeper understanding of the local geography, morphology, and archaeology.You will also visit the historically important Venetian rowing club, the best place to immerse yourself in Venice's history, traditions, and contemporary life. By participating in my activities, you help preserve this unique and historically significant site.
