We are happy to discuss the details to suit your needs and experience.There are many routes to choose from Including- Jozankei Tengu-dake. Distance: Approximately 9.2 kilometers.Highest Point: The summit of Jozankei Tengu-dake at 1145 meters.Difficulty- 7/10. Sapporo-dake: Views from the summit, enjoy vistas across Sapporo City, Mount Yotei, Muine-yama, and Jozankei-tengu. Diff-5/10. Soranuma-dake is a great option for a day hike, offering beautiful, forested trails and serene lake views. Diff-3/10. Tiene-dake:Location: Tiene-dake is west of Sapporo City with sweeping views of The Sea of Japan. Diff-5/10. Muine-yama-dake: A steady hike via a hut and small lakes. Before the hike commences, you will be provided with some helpful information to assist you with moving in a cold environment such as pacing to conserve energy, observing the route ahead, and evaluating the best route to minimize hazards. This journey leads you through serene forests blanketed in snow, with various routes catering to different skill levels. The tours include experienced guides who lead you through breathtaking landscapes, ensuring safety and sharing insights into the local environment. Some routes take you to hidden spots with stunning vistas of Mount Yotei or along ridges offering sweeping views of the surrounding countryside. These treks provide a chance to savor a hearty lunch in the midst of nature before continuing the journey. Keep an eye out for wildlife and unique natural features along the way; this kind of experience often makes for unforgettable memories!

2 Day Guided Snowshoeing Overnight in Shikotsu-Toya National Park.

The meeting time is 7;30am at Makomanai subway train Station. An example of an overnight snowshoeing trek is as follows-From there we will travel by private transport approx. half an hour to the trailhead. After completing preparation and discussing safety precautions and the day's forecast weather conditions, we will set out for our overnight accommodation traversing through forest, crossing streams, and gradually gaining elevation for 5 kilometres. This should take around 3 hours before arriving at a camping location or an alpine hut. Once we arrive there we can settle in and prepare for the next day's summit approach as well as explore the surrounding alpine lakes or forest for some wildlife watching. The next morning will see us enjoy breakfast and then off to the summit for a 2-hour hike to enjoy the legendary vistas.Returning to the hut, we can enjoy an early lunch and short rest, or continue through to the transportation and spend the afternoon at a local onsen before returning to Sapporo where we finish the tour. A full equipment list will be provided of what will be required for these treks when you book any of these excursions.
