Iconic Glacier Hike, South Coast & Waterfalls - Full Day Tour
South Coast's greatest hitsAdmire the Skógafoss waterfall, famously featured in Game of Thrones, where fantasy meets the power of nature. Feel the wind on your face and walk on the Reynisfjara black sand beach, renowned as one of the top 10 most beautiful places on Earth. It captured hearts worldwide. And for a reason! Walk behind the iconic Seljalandsfoss waterfall and take in its beauty from every angle. You might get wet but the smile on your face and the photos will be worth it. Adventure awaits under the vast Icelandic sky. After safety instructions, walk on centuries-old ice, explore a deep crack in the glacier, and possibly sip glacier water on a Sólheimajökull glacier hike. Waterfalls, black sand beaches, and vistas — on repeatStep aboard a comfortable minibus, feel the warm welcome from your driver-guide, and spend the next few hours journeying through Iceland's South Coast with plenty of stops (and surprises!) in between. Depending on the weather, time of day, and season, your driver guide may change the order in which you will visit the stops. This is the beauty of travelling in a small group — you have the flexibility to avoid the crowds and make unexpected discoveries."Well planned to avoid crowds." 5-star review on Tripadvisor Reykjavik to Skógafoss WaterfallMeet Skógafoss, a fantastic 60-meter waterfall where the Skógá River concludes its journey over ancient sea cliffs. The coastline here took a step back, unveiling this breathtaking vertical cascade. The energy and might of the falls weave a constant mist, sometimes painting vibrant rainbows on sunny days. It's like nature's own magic show!Glacier hike on Sólheimajökull Get ready for the tour's highlight: a thrilling 2.5-hour hike, with 1.5 hours spent right on the Sólheimajökull, an outlet glacier from the fourth-largest Icelandic glacier, Mýrdalsjökull. After gearing up for safety (crampons, helmet, ice axe), your highly trained guide will take you on the ice. Ever wanted to peer inside a crevasse or taste glacier water while learning about the history and geology of Iceland's glaciers? This is your chance. And yes, it's safe! "What an experience, we loved it so much. It was like walking on a different planet, and such a stunning landscape..." 5-star review on Tripadvisor Reynisfjara black sand beachAfter a quick ride, we'll pull over at the enchanting Reynisfjara black sand beach. Imagine this: once your foot touches the black sand, you will know why it was voted among the world's top 10 most beautiful non-tropical beaches. Being close to basalt columns, a domed cave, the famous black sand, and the iconic Reynisdrangar rock formations will give you plenty of thrills and serve as magnificent drops for your photos. You should stay clear of the ocean, the waves are extremely dangerous. Seljalandsfoss waterfallOn the way back to Reykjavik we'll stop at the must-see Seljalandsfoss waterfall. This beauty sits beneath the famous Eyfjallajokull, the volcano that made headlines in 2010. Get behind-the-waterfall view when you take a walk behind its thundering cascade.Return to Reykjavik full of life-long memories, and why not choose another tour with us, such as the Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Minibus Tour? But this tour goes further — soak in a natural hot spring, visit a greenhouse restaurant. Golden Circle's greatest hits — with a twist:Þingvellir National Park – Iceland’s first parliament was established here in 930 AD, and thanks to its unique geography, you’ll walk between two continents: the North American and European tectonic plates.Geysir – Iceland’s most famous geothermal area. Classic Golden Circle Small Group Day Tour
The Quintessential Golden CircleThe Golden Circle combines 3 of Iceland’s most popular sights:Gullfoss waterfallThe golden waterfall is in the canyon of Hvítá and nothing short of a spectacular scenic view. When the weather conditions are safe, you can even walk all the way down to the waterfall.GeysirGeysir is arguably the most famous hot spring in Iceland. There’s not a whole lot of action these days but Strokkur (right next to it) erupts every 5-8 minutes or so. Make sure to have your camera ready to catch that amazing natural phenomenon.Þingvellir National ParkLast but certainly not least, Þingvellir National Park is an area of tremendous historical importance for Iceland. It’s where the first parliament was established in 930 AD. Not only is it a scenic beauty but you’ll be exploring one of the longest-running political establishments in Europe. We’re not finished! Because of the geographical location of Þingvellir, it is possible to walk from the North American to the European tectonic plate. Talk about a bucket list item!In addition to these stops the tour also includes:Faxi waterfallWhile it may be a lot smaller than Gullfoss, this stop offers an intimacy to nature not afforded by every other stop. You can get so close to the waterfall that you can almost touch it! Extra stops: If time permits, we instruct our guides to stop by a couple of photogenic horses and even to stop by Efsti Dalur farm, where you can try some delicious ice cream. The Golden Circle is smack full of interesting places and vantage points, which make both driving and the sightseeing stops a day-long joy! Here's what you'll see and doYour pickup will start at 8:30 am in downtown Reykjavík. After the pickup is finished we will cross the wonderful Hellisheiði plateu, the location of Hellisheiðarvirkjun powerplant, one of the world's most powerful geothermal powerplant! After snapping some drive-by photos of the beautiful mossy scenery and the breathtaking view of the South Coast from top of the plateau, we stop in a small village called Hveragerði. In Hveragerði, we stop by a wonderful bakery and there's access to restrooms! After that we can truly dive into the Golden Circle! The first proper stop of the day is Faxi Waterfall. While it is a small waterfall compared to the famous Gullfoss it will surely impress you! From the parking lot, there is a wonderful trail leading all the way up to the waterfall, so you can really get upclose and personal! We continue our journey and the next stop is the 'Golden waterfall' Gullfoss. Located in the canyon of Hvítá, the waterfall plummets down into a 32-meter deep crevice. From the parking area, it's also possible to walk all the way down to the falls. It’s about a 10-minute walk but please be aware the walkway might be closed off in certain weather conditions. Then it’s time to hit the road again and our next stop is the Geysir. Now, Geysir has been inactive for some time but his younger brother Strokkur, which sits right next to Geysir, erupts every 5-8 minutes. Here, it’s important to not stand too close to the water – and have your camera ready! You will have plenty of time to see the geysir erupt as this stop is where we also break for lunch! Finally we will reach Þingvellir national park where the Icelandic parliament was established in 930 AD. We’ll let you see for yourself but soaking in the history and walking through this rift valley between the North American to the European tectonic plates this place will offer you nothing but spectacular views.During the day, horses, ice cream, geysirs, elves, trolls, and a whole host of interesting things await you! This tour is perfect for everyone who is looking for a relaxing, easy-going day trip that is smack full of amazing scenery and photogenic stops.

Golden Circle & Secret Lagoon Small Group Tour
Ask anyone what Iceland's Golden Circle is best known for, and the answer will likely be: Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir hot spring, and Gulfoss waterfall. Travelers give this area full marks—it is close to Reykjavik (if you're short on time), but it packs a lot into a day—sprouting geysers, tectonic plates, a mighty waterfall, plus the essential soak in the Secret Lagoon, Iceland's oldest swimming pool (and yes, you can have a cold beer while you do it). You are on holiday so treat yourself. Golden Circle's greatest hitsÞingvellir National Park, where Iceland's first parliament was established in 930 AD. Brace yourself for a surprise—thanks to its unique geography, you can walk from the North American to the European tectonic plateGeysir, an iconic hot spring in Iceland, where the real star, Strokkur, erupts every 5-8 minutes. Make sure your camera is ready for this incredibly fun natural spectacleGullfoss waterfall, nestled in the Hvítá canyon, offers nothing short of a spectacular scenic view. When conditions permit, stroll all the way down to experience its force and beauty up closeSecret Lagoon, where you become a little bit Icelandic by relaxing in a natural hot pool in the open air.Sounds good? Keep on reading for more tour details.Insta-ready natural sites After we pick you up, we're hitting the road straight out of the city. Soon enough, we'll breeze by Hellisheiðavirkjun—just the 8th largest geothermal power station globally, no big deal, only the largest one in Iceland.Reykjavik to Þingvellir National ParkNext on the adventure list is Þingvellir, the national park with a history dating back to 930 AD when the parliament made its debut. We won't spoil it too much, but get ready to get close and personal with some of Iceland's proudest moments in history and wander between the North American and European tectonic plates. Trust us, the experience is nothing short of thrilling. GeysirBack on the road, our next pit stop is Geysir. While the big Geysir has been taking a nap for a bit, Strokkur, its lively sidekick, steals the show by erupting every 5-8 minutes. Word of advice: keep a respectable distance and have your camera at the ready—it's eruption o'clock!Gulfoss We continue our journey and the next stop is Gulfoss, or the Golden Waterfall. Located in the canyon of Hvítá, the waterfall plummets down into a 32-meter (104.9 feet) deep crevice. From the parking area, it's also possible to walk all the way down to the falls. It’s about a 10-minute walk but please be aware the walkway might be closed off in certain weather conditions. Secret Lagoon As we wrap up our tour, our final destination is the Secret Lagoon, Iceland's oldest natural swimming pool. Fueled by geothermal energy and sourced from nearby hot springs, the pool, which maintains a constant temperature of 38/40°C (100.4/104°F) provides the perfect setting to unwind. Picture yourself soaking in the warm water, surrounded by nature views — a serene and natural conclusion to your adventure.
