However, if requested we organize transportation for extra cost. Depending the starting place, the group and the route we’ll suggest you the best way to commute. Beside walking it could be public transportation or private cab, minivan or bus. We can also organize shoreline cruises with our partners. We have several types of itineraries planned already that we can modify for your taste. We have long experience on providing guiding the various types of groups and we are accustomed to modify the tours to match the interests and needs of each customer group. This is a small group tour with maximum of 8 seats and we'll only go it there is fair change to see the Northern lights. Each tour will be confirmed or possible rescheduled in the morning. Then we have quite accurate forecast for the conditions for the evening. Still it is never 100% sure as we are hunting a natural phenomenon. If we make to tour and come back empty handed you will be reimbursed half of the payment.We'll start by picking up the participants and them we'll head out of the city lights for a proper Aurora Borealis viewing. According the weather and solar activity forecast we'll drive about 1 hour to reach a great Aurora viewing location. We might change the location to during the tour to catch the best possible opportunities to see and photograph the Aurora. Your guide is a professional photographer who can help you take make the most of your own gear to photograph the aurora. Still the biggest value is probably the photos taken by the guide with professional equipment which will be shared after the tour. While waiting for the Aurora to happen, we'll have a snack and a warm drink to keep comfortable. Sun's activity causes the Northern lights and 2024 - 2025 are considered to be great years for Aurora Hunting due the peak of solar activity cycle.

Porvoo is the most popular day trip destination from Helsinki, and for a reason. It is a picturesque small town with a lot of history. Did you know that first man who defeated Napoleon had a big conference in Porvoo in which the Grand Duchy of Finland was established. In the middle of the conference there was also a spark of love which later inspired books and movies. Porvoo is only 50km from Helsinki and therefore very accessible. The city is one of the oldest one in Finland, which is reflected in its medieval town plan and old wooden houses.
