From there, we ascend into the alpine tundra for an early, hearty Swedish lunch at Björkliden, overlooking the iconic Lapporten mountain gates.The Border & The FjordsNext, we cross the dramatic Riksgränsen mountain pass into Norway. Historically, these massive, sheer cliffs and deep waters were used as hiding spots for WWII battleships and submarines.
