The Whale Watching & Puffin Express is a fast and safe one and a half hour RIB boat or speed boat tour that takes place within the majestic mountains and in the picturesque landscape of Eyjafjordur in North Iceland. The speed gives us an excellent opportunity to go further and sail through a wider area. In one hour we could go from Dalvik to Akureyri or almost to Grimsey, which lies on the Arctic Circle. On the way, we are almost guaranteed to see whales!
In the summertime, we are almost guaranteed to see puffins as well! Between April 15th and August 15th, puffins are abundant in the bay and we are very likely to see them on our tour.

Midnight Sun Whale Watching
Midnight sun whale watching is a magical experience as in right condition you experience the constant daylight in Iceland during late May to early July. Being close to the arctic circle merely 30 miles shy the sun is always above horizon around 22nd of June.
The Arctic Circle marks the southernmost point at which the center of the midnight sun is just visible on the June solstice. The region north of this circle is known as the Arctic, and the zone just to the south is called the northern temperate zone.
As seen from the Arctic, the Sun is above the horizon for 24 continuous hours at least once per year (and therefore visible at midnight)
