We will start at the Canolfan Cwm Idwal visitor centre (300m). We will then prceed upto Y Garn (947m) before decending to Llyn y Cwn 716m. we will then ascend steeply to reach the summit of Glyder Fawr (1000m). we will the loop around back to where we started. there is a option to possibly include Tryfan if you are of a good ability and we make good time.

Join us for a full-day mountain adventure through one of North Wales’ most impressive highland areas — the Carneddau Range. We’ll start in Bethesda (137m) and make our way up to Carnedd Dafydd (1044m) before crossing the dramatic ridge to Carnedd Llewelyn (1065m), the second-highest peak in Wales. From there, we loop around Y Foel Goch (978m) and Carnedd Gwenllian, passing a few smaller summits before descending back into Bethesda.This route takes you off the beaten path, far from the busy trails of Snowdon, offering tranquil mountain landscapes and sweeping views across Eryri National Park.Expect around 7–8 hours of hiking, with breaks for photos, rest, and a packed lunch at the summit (bring your own food and water). Your guide knows these mountains in detail and will share local stories, mountain names, and insights about the area’s history and wildlife.Practical info: There is regular public transport from Bangor to Bethesda, making this hike easily accessible without a car. We will start at the Beddgelert information center. We will through town to the start of the path upto Moel Hebog (783M). We will walk straight up to the summit gaining roughly 750m. At summit we will stop for a lunch break and hopefully admire views (weather permitting). We will then decent to the slightly lower peak of Moel Yr Ogof (655m) and then Moel Lefn (638m). We will then descend into the forest and hike about 3km along wooded paths before arriving at the start of the Moel Hebog path. Lastly we will walk back to the Information center.

Climb to the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa, 1085 m) — the highest mountain in Wales — on a guided day hike led by an experienced mountaineer. We’ll start in Llanberis, following the well-loved Llanberis Path to the top, where breathtaking views across Eryri (Snowdonia National Park) await.Depending on weather and group preference, we may descend via one of three routes — including Pen-y-Pass or the Ranger Path — to create a memorable and varied loop.This experience is suitable for hikers of moderate fitness, with plenty of breaks for rest, photos, and lunch at the summit. Expect around 7 hours of hiking in total, including time to enjoy the views and learn about local landmarks from your guide.Public transport is available to Llanberis from Bangor.
