At the indicated time we will meet atMarquês de Pombal Square from Lisbon. From there, we will travel through theRibatejo landscapesUntil we get toTomar. In this city we will visit theConvent of Christ, located inside the walls ofTemplar Castleand one of the Unesco World Heritage sites that we will visit during the tour. Then we will go to theBatalha, where we will see the monastery, its most emblematic monument, which was chosen as one ofSeven Wonders of Portugaland declaredWorld Heritage. After that visit, you will have an hour of free time to have lunch at a local restaurant. The time has come to recharge your batteries! After free time, we will continue the route going toAlcobaça Monastery, which dates back to the 12th century. When we are there we will talk about its founder, theFirst Portuguese king, Afonso Henriques. Thanks to its size, the purity of its style, the quality of the materials and the care with which it was built, it was also declared a World Heritage Site in 1989. It's not for less!
