Next, we’ll drive to Lake Kaindy (15 min by car). From the parking area, it’s an easy 15-min walk to the lake. If you prefer not to walk, you can ride a horse or take a UAZ vehicle (2000 tenge). After that, we continue to Charyn Canyon (100 km, 2.5 hours). We’ll arrive just in time for sunset. Enjoy golden hour views from above and take a ride in an improvised safari vehicle (1,800 tenge). Early in the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in a comfortable jeep or SUV and head to Altyn-Emel National Park. The distance is 250 km (about 4.5 hours). Along the way, you’ll see rural villages, open степpe landscapes, and mountain views.Our first stop is the Singing Dune, which rises 150 meters high (about the height of a 50-story building). In dry weather, the dune produces a deep vibrating sound, similar to the hum of an organ or a jet engine. This rare natural phenomenon was studied by Soviet scientists.Next, we drive to the Aktau Mountains (about 2.5 hours). These mountains are the former bed of an ancient ocean, where you can still see fossils of prehistoric animals.We will stop for lunch in a nearby village.Your guide will be happy to take photos of you during the tour.
