PR9 Queimadas Caldeirão Verde Levada Hiking Transfer

Hike at your own rhythm on a self-guided trek in Caldeirão Verde. Explore the incredible Laurissilva Forest and mystical trail along a water channel, with green views on one side and stunning waterfalls along the other. Observe the waterfalls, ancient endemic trees, the Levada trail, and feel the nature of Queimadas.Get picked up at your accommodation with a shared transfer (up to 8 guests per van). Arrive at your destination and receive your hike instructions with scheduling and map explanation. The hike is a round trip trail totalling 15 km in length. The starting point will be at Queimadas Park. The ending point will be at the end of PR JOEL trail (um Caminho para todos trail) for another 1.9km (20/25 minutes).This hike will take you roughly 5.5-hours to complete. The minimum elevation on this tour is 872-meters whereas the maximum is 1062-meters, so it's not known for hills or stairs. However, you will encounter 4 tunnels with a max length of 200 metres.

WRECK CORVETA AFONSO CERQUEIRA

The Corveta Afonso Cerqueira was a warship of the Portuguese Navy and was sunk on 4 September 2018 south of Cabo Girão off the island of Madeira. BOAT DIVESWe run daily boat trips (one tank dive and 2 dive trips in the morning at 9h and one in the afternoon at 14h00) to dive in the most exciting dive sites on the island: Garajau National park and Cabo Girão Marine park. They are all characterized by vibrant biodiversity, clear waters, and an abundance of marine life! This zone is a paradise for underwater photography. Divers may find here tunas, mackerels, large groupers, barracudas, huge stingrays, morays, etc. In addition, from time to time we have the chance to spot some amazing creatures, such as frogfish, huge round stingrays, sea horses, and turtles.
