Carnedd Llewelyn Loop – Guided Snowdonia Hike

Join us for a full-day mountain adventure through one of North Wales’ most impressive highland areas — the Carneddau Range. We’ll start in Bethesda (137m) and make our way up to Carnedd Dafydd (1044m) before crossing the dramatic ridge to Carnedd Llewelyn (1065m), the second-highest peak in Wales. From there, we loop around Y Foel Goch (978m) and Carnedd Gwenllian, passing a few smaller summits before descending back into Bethesda.This route takes you off the beaten path, far from the busy trails of Snowdon, offering tranquil mountain landscapes and sweeping views across Eryri National Park.Expect around 7–8 hours of hiking, with breaks for photos, rest, and a packed lunch at the summit (bring your own food and water). Your guide knows these mountains in detail and will share local stories, mountain names, and insights about the area’s history and wildlife.Practical info: There is regular public transport from Bangor to Bethesda, making this hike easily accessible without a car.
