As soon as we rev the engine and leave, visitors will be able to discover the hidden gems of Boka Bay: authentic fishing grounds and villages, antique Romanesque churches, Byzantine palaces, and more historical monuments. Out of many panoramic beauties, the first one is directly aimed at the islet Our Lady of the Rocks. A site enriched with a mythical legend that goes back more than five centuries. Namely, this is an artificial island that had been expanded by seafarers who found the icon of Madonna and Child on a sea cliff. Feeling grateful for safe returns after long journeys, the sailors vowed to honor the Holy Mother and so, little by little and stone after stone, this place became an artificial island that harbors the church Lady of the Rocks. Here, visitors can listen to stories about the artifacts, enjoy the many frescoes, paintings, motives, tapestry, and other items inside the chapel. Outside, guests can stop for a drink or buy souvenirs or ice cream from a store close by. The next stop on our journey is Perast. A story of its own, this UNESCO heritage site, once used to be home to the people from the Illyrian, Roman, and Christian periods. Perast enjoyed prosperity during the Venetian rule, which can be seen by the architecture of the nine defensive towers, Baroque palaces dating from the 17th and 18th century, and distinctive Catholic churches. All in all, this tour is definitely on any traveler’s bucket list here in Montenegro. Make sure to reach out and book an experience that you will never forget.

Private Dubrovnik Tour - from Kotor
Our drive to Dubrovnik takes us along the beautiful Bay of Kotor, the most southern fjord in Europe, crossing it by ferry boat. After crossing the border with Croatia, we arrive to the famous ancient city of Dubrovnik. “Those who seek paradise on earth”, George Bernard Shaw once wrote, “should come to Dubrovnik”. Dubrovnik is the one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval Mediterranean towns, rich in cultural monuments. Along the way we will pass by the Rector’s Palace (15th century) that used to be the seat of the Government and Rector in the once-independent Republic of Dubrovnik (abolished by Napoleon in 1808). Today, it gives us an idea of how the ruling class and the aristocracy used to live. Other fine buildings will be seen from the outside: the Sponza Palace, notable for its column courtyard with elaborate stone carving; the Church of St. Blaise; the Onofrio’s Fountain; the Cathedral, etc. At the end of the walking tour you will have some free time in the Old Town.
