Surin Islands by Speedboat from Khao Lak

Some of the best snorkelling sites in Thailand are off the Surin Islands. Because the area is quite remote, with clear shallow water and fewer visitors, it is the perfect island paradise!  The two Surin Islands just have a shallow channel between each other which provides a constant supply of flowing water to create perfect conditions for coral growth as well as to support the wide variety of marine life that live there AND to give you fantastic snorkelling opportunities. Here you will find yourself spending time with the likes of “Nemo” Clownfish, Octopuss, Pipefish, Coral Groupers, and many many more! Encounters with sea turtles are quite frequent here too.  A comfortable, air-conditioned mini-van transfer from your Khao Lak resort will take you to the Pier, arriving at about 7.00am. After Registration formalities, you will head out to sea for the exciting speedboat ride to the first snorkelling spot of the day. You will arrive at Surin Island at approximately 9.40am to snorkel in the crystal clear water and also you will visit Moken sea gypsy village. The Moken are an Austronesian people who live a semi-nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle heavily based on the sea who you will no doubt find very interesting. Phi Phi Islands by Speedboat with Lunch

Start your day early so that you see a gorgeous sunrise over the beautiful islands of Phi Phi before the crowds arrive. There is a feeling of tranquility in this area at dawn which is definitely worth experiencing.  This tour takes you by speedboat out to the largest of the Phi Phi Islands as well as to Maya Bay on Phi Phi Ley (where Leonardo DiCaprio filmed 'The Beach') plus other tiny, but beautiful, spots. This is a magnificent tour with lunch and return transfers that has you back at your hotel with plenty of time left in the day to continue enjoying Phuket!

Phi Phi Islands X-Large The Early Bird

Koh Phi Phi Don is the largest and most populated island of the group, although the beaches of the second largest island, Koh Phi Phi Leh, are visited by many people as well. The others are all uninhabited, stunning rock formations that jut themselves out from the sea. Maya Bay is usually the first stop on this tour. This is a “must see”! And even though boats cannot stop there at present (due to restoration) you will pass by to take photos without the crowds. Simply breathtaking! It will be at this point that you'll realise how beneficial the early morning start was! Our next port of call is Phileh Lagoon. This location has become famous for the traditional jump off the front of the boat into one of the most beautiful lagoons in the world. If you are less adventurous, you can simply use the steps at the side of the boat to enjoy these beautiful waters. We have a few locations to choose from for some morning snorkelling, including Viking Cove, Loh Somah Bay, Dragon Lagoon, Straight Rock and Par Dang. Which location is actually visited will depend on the sea conditions, tide and other tour groups on the day. All snorkelling equipment, flippers (fins) floatation aids, swim noodles, etc. will be provided free of charge. The staff are always there (in and out of the water) ready to help any first timer with encouragement, advice or sometimes just a helping hand. Time to catch up with the locals on Monkey Beach. Everyone loves the monkeys here, but no matter how cute they appears we must remain cautious at all times. They can, and do, bite so we ask everyone to be aware and listen to the tour guides instructions. Respect that they are wild animals. If we all behave in a safe, appropriate manner, the monkeys survival is assured so that future generations of visitors here will be similarly entertained and educated! For your lunch break you will be taken to Bamboo Island for a buffet lunch direct on the white powdery beach. After lunch it is time for more snorkelling. Options include Nui Bay (Camel Rock), Mosquito Island, Hin Klan or a spot in front of Bamboo Island. All these places have coral reefs with an abundance of sea life. Upon arrival back at the marina in Phuket, at about 3.00pm, you will step into you waiting vehicle to be driven back to the hotel. 

Big Game Fishing Expedition – Full Day at Sea

Experience the thrill of fishing at Racha Yai Island, a tropical paradise in the Andaman Sea. Compete with fellow anglers and see who manages to catch the biggest fish. Before your day ends, enjoy a delicious Thai buffet lunch onboard and take the chance to swim in the crystal blue waters. After pick up from your Phuket hotel, follow your guide to Chalong Pier and hop aboard a modern and comfortable boat for a cruise on the Andaman Sea to Racha Island. Your guide takes the boat on the high seas where you cast your line and try to get a bite. Learn from your expert guide how to catch big fish and try your luck at bagging tuna, mackerel, razorfish, grouper, or trevally. Just after midday break for a tasty lunch onboard before the chance to cool off with a swim in the azure water. You can also opt to snorkel among the colorful coral and tropical aquatic life or simply relax on the deck under the glimmering afternoon rays. After your day of adventure, return to the harbor and get a ride back to your hotel.

Phang Nga Bay and Koh Kai Island

After you're picked up from your Phuket hotel you will travel by air-conditioned minivan to Royal Phuket Marina where your speedboat will depart at approximately 10.00am. Departing from The Royal Phuket Marina head out into Phang Nga Bay and within an hour you'll be exploring caves and lagoons at Panak Island. Then it is off to Tapu Island and Ping-Gun Island. (Tapu Island also called James Bond Island – known for being the filming location of the movie The Man with the Golden Gun). James Bond Island is the most famous spot in the bay and, of course, you'll want to take photos of the world famous Rock. Enjoy and relax here and gaze at the beautiful scenery of the area before seeing the limestone landscape. At around 1.30pm you'll arrive at the Muslim village of Panyi Island which is where you'll enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Tour the village's historical and traditional houses which were built on pillars above the blue-green sea about a hundred and fifty years ago. Time for shopping for handicrafts and souvenirs of the local area. By 3.00pm it will be time to zoom across the waters to Kai Nai Island. This tiny island is surrounded by a beautiful white sandy beach and you'll love you're time swimming and snorkelling here!
