Hops and beer, right in the middle A large share of the hops that end up in beer around the world grows in the Hallertau. On this 3-day short break you go behind the scenes with a private guide. At the German Hop Museum you learn how a climbing plant became “green gold”. With a hop farmer you see how hops are grown today, with a beer break in the farmyard, of course. And at the historic Schlossbräukeller in Au you enjoy hearty Bavarian cuisine. The hop harvest in September is especially impressive.
