We’ll drive west from Manaus to Castanho Lake, where your local host and a wooden canoe await.From there, venture into the jungle for a 3-hour guided trek. (Wear long pants, closed shoes, use insect repellent, and bring a raincoat.)Next, we’ll visit a local riverside home for a simple but tasty Amazonian lunch: rice, beans, spaghetti, manioc flour, and vinaigrette.
