Your adventure begins around 12 PM, when we pick you up from your hotel and head to the marina. There, your private and comfortable speedboat awaits to start our journey downriver.We’ll cruise past the Port of Manaus and its industrial heart, heading toward Lake Janauary (please note: this area is not accessible between late August and early December). There, you'll enjoy a buffet lunch filled with delicious regional specialties — a true taste of the Amazon!After lunch, we’ll take a serene walk along a suspended platform through the flooded forest to visit the stunning giant water lilies. Along the way, keep an eye out for birds, monkeys, and other wildlife hidden in the lush vegetation.Back on the boat, we’ll wind through narrow creeks and channels until we arrive at the floating village of Catalão, a remarkable community where over 100 families live in houses, schools, and shops that float right on the water.At this same lake, we’ll stop at a floating fish farm to meet the legendary Pirarucu (Arapaima gigas) — the largest scaled freshwater fish in the world. You’ll have the chance to feed them and even try catch-and-release fishing with rods that don’t harm the fish.Our final stop is the jaw-dropping Meeting of the Waters, where the dark waters of the Rio Negro and the sandy-colored Rio Solimões flow side by side without mixing for several kilometers. The difference in temperature, speed, pH, and density makes this one of Earth’s most unique and mesmerizing sights.After capturing unforgettable photos, we return to Manaus along a scenic route — a perfect ending to a powerful half-day in the heart of the Amazon.
